Ok surely im not the only one who randomly finds something to cry over. I was just looking at the "a day in the internet is absolutely staggering" thread and suddenly wanted to cry. Mostly because it terrifies me watching all this new technology being made so fast and sudden and also because i realise that life is slipping by far too fast for my liking. Suddenly im almost 19yrs old but i still only feel 16. Maybe its hormones seeing as im a girl but my mates sometimes find they are "choked up" about random things like no milk or snow on the ground....

Come on, don't be shy and tell us a time when you've come close or have cried over something so weird and strange.

EDIT: by weird and strange i mean normal things that you shouldnt cry about...for example, standing at the bus stop and you see a baby bunny hopping along. You start feeling emotional for any reason looking at it, maybe your wondering where its mother is, or how cute it is.

Maybe hormones, that makes a fair bit of sense. Or maybe you're just naturally emotionally responsive, there isn't anything wrong with that.

Isn't a woman crying randomly and generally surfing waves of emotional vicissitude just par for the course?

There was a period of time where I would just get really upset over not knowing what I was upset about. Serious paradox. And break down into light tears just out of nowhere. And eventually it just went away. So er yeah I guess it's just hormones.

Define "weird and strange".

Don't start crying now because I was being slightly chauvinistic or what the hell you call it.

Hey, that's actually kinda mean...why am I being mean? =/
Hey, he's right, you are pretty.

I don't cry ever. Not to sound like I'm lying or anything but I just never cry, I am depressed though ever since my girlfriend broke up with me, but I just never cry.

It could be hormones but i could be wrong. People's emotions are all different perhaps you have some form of anxiety?

Because you have repressed sexual feelings towards men and feel angry that you can't admit it.

I'm joking!

I don't normally cry at all, I cant remember when I last did properly. But about a month ago I was on my Ipod and a song came on and I was just zoned out listening to the lyrics and I noticed I was getting a lump in my throat over it. Thing is I've listened to it plenty before and never had that reaction, but now I always remember that when I hear it.

After all, I'm not afraid of dying!

*ahem*

I don't cry for real life events. Just fictional moments. How's that for reversed?

Edit: And the last time I teared up was during the conclusion of "The End of Time" on Doctor Who.

Well, thinking about my mom's death tends to choke me up, and thinking about how I was the only family member not present at her deathbed because I was too much of a wimpy, cowardly weakling. My brother told me she kept asking where I was, and only when he told her I wasn't coming she passed away...
Goddamn, my eyes are tearing up.

Well, I didn't shed a tear or even fell sad when my grandmother or two family friends died but I am almost driven to tears when watching the intro of old cartoons I used to watch. Nostalgia makes me sadder then death apparently. Crying is good for the body since it allows the release of pent up emotions in a healthy manner so don't be afraid to cry. (nobody begrudges girls for crying anyway).

I don't cry.
I used to, though. Quite often, in fact.

I think I cried, once, at a funeral for someone I barely knew.
I can't remember why, but I imagine it had something to do with feelings, or some shit.
Knowing the kind of kid I was, it was likely just because the whole air of the thing felt sad.
