Why didn't I play this sooner?

Fallout 3. My brother got it about a week after it was released and he wouldn't stop gushing about it. Eventually caved in and played it A month or two later and it's now one of my favourite games.
well strategy games never were really my thing to pass time for, i dont hate them at all, i just prefer to play anything and everything else before doing time on there, because it just feels like...im accomplishing nothing.
my friend finally got me to try civilization revolution over the summer that it came out, (got it for xbox 360 also) seeing as i didn't have much else to play at the time.
holy.fucking.shit.
i was addicted as shit for weeks...WEEKS! i couldn't put the damn game down, from dawk to dusk i observed and tried every strategy to the point of exhaustion, i was the overlord/alpha/omega of all that is hard about that game and i destroyed it like a shitstain in undies. now normally people ***** about it being shitty for consoles and how the control schemes are so bad..but honestly, it was so user friendly and easy, my APM (starcrafty term) was thru the fucking roof with how easy it was to control stuff, even the computer thought i was a computer.
honestly i didn't have AS much fun with civIV once i bought it, but its still good, and i might get civ5 eventually..

Team Fortress 2. For some reason I didn't like it at first, was close-minded about it and almost wanted a more Halo like experience. But I also recall playing it at a friends house after a terrible day at school with a painful headache. I probably would have played it on a better day if I had brought the Orange Box, but since that one friend that I didn't really see too much anyway only had it, I didn't really get to allow myself to get familiar with the game, so I forgot about it for awhile. Then like a year later I got it for like $6 for the 360 thanks to some awesome deal and played all the games on it and loved all of them. Later I got it for the PC once I upgraded mine so it could run games better. The 360 version is depressing, absolutely no updates, only about 6 maps.
half life 2 had the orange box for over a year and only played portal and tf2, it was surprisingly good

All that's left for me to do within the game (achievement wise) is to finish Moxxie's Underdome. But damn, doing the larger tournaments take roughly 2.5-3.5 hours each. -_-'
I haven't even touched Other M- I've seen enough to know that I would not take that well to Samus' personality/voice. However, I absolutely love the Prime games xD Other M does look like it'd be a fun game to PLAY (I have no issues with a psuedo 2D game), but not until the price drops quite a bit.RowdyRodimus said:
