Because it does. There's your answer.
Blah!
It's a /thread post as the first response!
This thread is now bland.

And yeah, it exists because it does.

You realise that this why Philosophy exists right? Nobody knows why.

Do you mean "Why do we exist?" in terms of "What caused us to exist?" or as in "For what purpose to we exist?"
For the former, I'd say a chain of phenomenally improbable events emanating from the Big Bang, before which space and time, and thus causality, did not exist, thus rendering the original cause of the universe, if any, ineffable.
For the latter, purpose and meaning are subjectively determined by individuals. Or, in other words, your purpose is whatever you choose.

Things came into being because, as I personally hold as my mantra "All things Strive"

Why ANYTHING exists though? A sadly pointless, unanswerable and ultimatley fruitless question.

It really is a matter of "Because", it's not just a smartalec answer, it's the genuine artifact.

Of course, if you're religious, you can live safe in the knowledge that you'll die and get to ask your deity

If you're athiest, then, good luck with nothingness.

I love the Discworld belief that the afterlife is literally what you expect for each individual

as far as I know, to procreate and evolve to survive. other then that I'm baffled. probably something with a A.I. could understand because it isn't truly alive, so it has a different perspective.

But Why ?
Who says that there is even an answer to that question? There isn't some law dictating that it hás to have an answer, it's just one of those stupid human things, constantly asking why.
