Why not?
It's the same reason you were never satisfied when your parents told you "Don't do this, because I said so." You get that you're not supposed to do it, but you don't understand why not?
"What happens when I drive over the speed limit?"
"What's inside that power transformer that's so dangerous?"
"What happens when I inject Heroin into my veins?"
If you don't give people the whole story, they'll always want to find out what happens next for themselves. If the "Do Not Press" button had instead been labeled the "Press Button and Everyone's Avatar Will be Replaced by Pictures of Justin Beiber" button, you probably wouldn't have pressed it.
