Weeeell, if there wasn't a taboo about nudity, nudity probably wouldn't be any sexier than being clothed, so it's debatable. But yeah, if the world were to suddenly go nudist tomorrow, then yup.bodyklok said:They still happen, and they'd happen even more if a girl walked around naked in the middle of nowhere.CargoHold said:Rape is about having power over the victim, which is why rapes are uncommon between complete strangers.bodyklok said:Now, I only think that this should apply to public places, shopping centres, public schools ect. So in the middle of the country side, or out in the wild younder, they can walk around stark naked if they want. Though if some dude see a girl walking around naked in the middle of nowhere, on her own, and rapes her. Then, although he absolutely will be prosecuted, she has to accept that it was her actions that lead to the dude wanting to rape her, not that it's her fault, just that it probably wouldn't of happened of she was wearing clothes.
So by a layer of fabric I assume you mean 2 layers and by thin you mean of average thickness or better if I'm wearing cargos or jeans.hubu5001234 said:Well it may shock you but a thin piece of fabric will not do much to prevent the incredibly small bacteria and microbes from getting from your arse to a seat.fletch_talon said:I don't believe I said there was a paedophile behind every bush. Even then, to say there aren't "that many" in the world is bullshit, 1 is too many, and the real numbers would more likely be at least in the high hundreds (judging by the number of people that get busted for possessing child pornography). Just because 100 in 6 billion (or whatever the worlds population is) doesn't seem like "that many" in the big scheme of things does not lessen the impact they make on society.hubu5001234 said:Will people realize that there is not that many paedophiles in the world. Our lovley media has led (most of) us to belive that there is one hiding under every bush, they do the same thing with terroists and the U.S.A. also did this with communists in the cold war.fletch_talon said:Its probably all been covered but my reasons why people should wear clothes are thus.
I find the sight of other men's genitals off-putting (insert "you're just intimidated" joke here).
I find the sight of naked attractive women arousing, emotions I would feel uncomfortable feeling in public. Admittedly clothed women can be arousing too, but not to the same extent, also my arousal would be hidden thanks to my own attire.
It protects us from the elements, the cold, sunburn, wind, dirt, rain and so on. Also our genitals are arguably the most delicate/sensitive parts of our bodies, as such it pays to protect them from accidental (or purposeful) impact with foreign objects.
Hygiene is also a factor, various substances and infectious disease are potentially passed via contact.
And finally, perverts, its bad enough for a grown man to ogle some chicks tits (conspicuously, I can't deny that I enjoy the sight of boobs, but I do my darnedest not to make people feel uncomfortable in doing so) but lets not also forget that young children would assumedly be included in the nudity, leading to paedophiles perving on your children.
Actually that'd almost be good. It'd make the paedos stand out and make it easier to put them away.
Perhaps you meant there aren't that many child molesters. If so, learn to tell the difference, its a biggun.
M'kay you see paedophilia is a menatl disease these people can not help it(i am very apposed of of adults engaging in sex with a minor with out consent).
Nice, so you focus on a very misinterpreted aspect of my post and ignore the parts that would appear to add to the reasons you stated in your post. I mentioned hygiene, disease, social awkwardness etc. Sitting down at a restaurant? I sure hope the bloke who sat there before didn't have genital herpes. Oh and that chick you secretly liked in 8th grade?.. Yeah not so secret. And just so i don't veer to greatly of topic i personally don't believe clothes need to be worn apart from places where there are extreme temperatures that may harm the body.
which thankfully is not where i live (eastern coast of Australia, although some people disagree, they should try living on the west coast.)
On the bright side, in a world without clothes, you could make a fortune investing in disinfectant companies.
I also think think you fail to realize how much pubes you already most probaly get in your food when you go out to eat.
I think there was a dude recently who won the right to go about in public starkers (I think he lived in London). The risk is that if he becomes sexually excited in any way, it becomes indecent exposure and he can be arrested. You don't get that if you're clothed. You may also need special permission from the police.Technically, there is no law against being nude in public in the United Kingdom. Simple nudity is not illegal. However, using nudity to "harass, alarm or distress" others is an offence against the Public Order Act of 1986.

I'm not sayng your wrong; I do see the Human body as a thing of beauty, but to most, unless they see their significant other nude, they will find other people's body disgusting.JanatUrlich said:And whoever said the human body is ugly should grow the fuck up. The human body is beautiful
Well that's really fucking weird. I don't understand how anyone can not see beauty in other people's bodies.Pulse Reality said:I'm not sayng your wrong; I do see the Human body as a thing of beauty, but to most, unless they see their significant other nude, they will find other people's body disgusting.
Not everybody agrees with you, and it doesn't make them wrong for it, and it doesn't mean they need to grow up. Come on now.JanatUrlich said:And whoever said the human body is ugly should grow the fuck up. The human body is beautiful
I hope you are kidding, and not actually suggesting you will get the herp or anything else from sitting with your parts protected. Could it happen? Maybe one in a million chance. If this is what you really think, how do you sit anywhere?hubu5001234 said:Well it may shock you but a thin piece of fabric will not do much to prevent the incredibly small bacteria and microbes from getting from your arse to a seat.
Of course they need to grow up! Being all "ewww naked people" makes you sound like a 2 year old. How will people like that ever get laid?chronobreak said:Not everybody agrees with you, and it doesn't make them wrong for it, and it doesn't mean they need to grow up. Come on now.
I don't know if you're joking or not, but I'll respond anyways. Yes, if I'm going around saying "ewww naked people", that is kind of childish. If, however, I am going around saying "I prefer people to have clothes on their bodies", it is not childish, it is an adult making an opinion in a rational way. Nothing wrong with that. Also, it is not everyone's priority to get laid. Some people have schoolwork, jobs, and other things that are far more important.JanatUrlich said:Of course they need to grow up! I'm not saying that everyone walking around naked would be acceptable, I'm simply responding to people who claim that the human body is disgusting, which is an extremely immature view on the subject. Preferring people with clothes on is fine, saying that the human body is horrible is childish.chronobreak said:I don't know if you're joking or not, but I'll respond anyways. Now, I'm not saying I'm one of those people, but I know they exist.
