Agreed, people who consider nudity to be more natural are morons, have they actually seen themselves? We have no natural insulators, not natural armour and no natural weapons, so yeah, we developed clothing and tools to survive, thanks to our survival instinct.DeadlyYellow said:Simply put, this above all else.NoMoreSanity said:Because I don't want to look at person's junk.
We donned clothes first to retain warmth, and to protect ourselves from the elements of the world. When the ideal of humility came about, it became custom to cover one's genitalia. Frankly, it's not one I want to break.
yeah, this is just the reason, I hate saying "/thread" but this is just simply the answer.NoMoreSanity said:Because I don't want to look at person's junk.
"I find beauty in everything... except fat people and other things I don't like". Wow, good job.JanatUrlich said:Well that's really fucking weird. I don't understand how anyone can not see beauty in other people's bodies.Pulse Reality said:I'm not sayng your wrong; I do see the Human body as a thing of beauty, but to most, unless they see their significant other nude, they will find other people's body disgusting.
I can understand why people wouldn't want to see naked fat people. I wouldn't be too hot on that either, but it takes all kinds to make a world I guess.
The majority have been raised to see the Human Body as either a very sexual thing or a very private thing. The latter being what the most of the majority has been taught.JanatUrlich said:Well that's really fucking weird. I said I didn't want to start an abortion debate, and I refuse to start one.scrambledeggs said:I bet anyone considering abortion who didn't end up aborting would have a much greater impact on society than those who did. Abortion is the answer to many an economic and social problem, and unborn fetuses aren't alive, so it isn't murder.Flying-Emu said:Not to start an abortion debate, but abortion technically does affect society by killing off an unborn fetus. Just sayin'.heyheysg said:Here's an interesting question to examine why certain laws are in place and what constitutes human rights.
Basically if a person does not wear clothes, no harm will come to any other passer by. So why is it illegal to be naked in public?
contrast with, weed smoking (does 2nd hand weed harm people, will a stoned driver hit someone?)
abortion (will having an abortion affect the rest of society?), gay rights etc.
@topic.
It's modern squemishness. There's no real reason for it.
Even if nudism was legal, I'd still wear clothes though. It gets fuckin' cold fast here in Washington.
OT: I would hate for this to be implemented. I like strip teases too much.
