Because I tend to buy older, out-of-production games you can't find any other way. Very rarely do I buy a new game for full price, because getting the game the day it's released has never actually mattered to me. Even if I know I'll love the game, I'd rather wait and buy overstock later (still a new copy... just for much less money). I'll only shell out the day-one $60 if I really want to show support for the developer.
Also, as far as I'm concerned, buying a used copy of a recent game for $55 is just stupid. If $5 makes a big difference in your finances, wait for the fucking price to drop.
