Personally I do it because I wanna see how many replies and comments I can get from one topic. Then again sometimes I have a serious question to ask and I need insight from others. Why do you write forums?

Do you mean write "threads"? In which case I just do it when I have something to say and noone else has already said it.

Mostly to get other people to hate me and train my speech skills.

It's quite handy for use in real life to come up with quick and witty answers to fan boy raging, angry people or plain old jerks.

And sometimes because I wanna know other peoples opinions.

I write "threads" because I have a quite afew messed up ideas in my head and I like to have the opinions of others ensure me that i'm insane to a relatively normal degree.

I find a lot of people like to do that like that guy who got banned for "forget the zombie Apocalypse". I think he just wanted to start a fight if you ask me.

Because I'd like to hear the views of people who know what they're talking about. Also it increases my spelling and grammar skills in English, something I think is very useful. I also enjoy the discussion.

Because the interwebs relies on only the use of word, I can piss off someone as much as I like and they can't punch me in the face or anything they just have to sit there and take it. Also as someone said it's good to see others opinion's or perhaps they have information on something you don't it the same as asking why we start discussions in real life.

It's healthy to talk to other people about the same things you like. My friends aren't really into games so I like gaming forums.

Yeah I meant threads sorry.
I start threads with questions that I want answers to.

I haven't done any "blue is red or is it? Discuss" threads. I don't see that happening anytime soon.

I never actually get people to hate me, just try and bait em a bit see if they bite than catch them using stupid arguments to prove their superiority over me. Like the guy that claimed MGS 4 had so much dialogue because kojima wanted to make a statement about war being bad??@1!$$#

Baiting people to get in and talk with a rather frustrated attitude is kinda fun isn't it?

No, it's trolling, and it's annoying.

Ha ha ha. Hey, are you trying to get me in trouble. I've seen the ban screens.

Of the few threads that I have made, a few of them were made because I had something on my mind, and the rest were really just attempts at badge whoring.
