Back in the early days of Vaudeville, back in 1925, there were three stooges of Ted Healey. Healey was the ringmaster while Moe, Larry and Shemp interrupted him.
After Shemp was badly treated, he quit and was replaced by Curly - the bald one. Who anyone who has every watched Moonlighting or Futurama might just recognise:
The shows basically consisted of Moe trying to achieve something, while the other two would clown around and goof off, before being slapped senseless by Moe - and has spawned innumerable repeats, re-showings, tributes.
Why this trip down memory lane? Well..

It's often been said that Hollywood have been running low on ideas, and now they're even practicing necromancy. But how can they convert a purely physical slap-stick into today's politically correct arena - without diving to the depths of Meet The Spartans?
Not just could it be any good - but CAN it be any good?
Especially as Saturday Night Live have already made this infamous meme

Which IS the Modern Stooges.
