Why is it Monday?

That's it? That's your bad Monday? Well, I spose I'd be pissed off if that had happened to me.

I just spent three hours on a train, where I discovered that my siblings had run down the battery on both my iPod and my DS, managed to get ants on me while sitting on the first train and then spent the rest of the journey itching and being certain they were still on me. And then I didn't have enough cash to get a coffee. And I'm starting exams this week, and won't be seeing my boyfriend for a while.

But I've had worse days.

Today alone, my coffee spilled, my dog keeps on barking, and my PSP (don't laugh) decided to die on me half-way through a fricking level on Loco Roco 2.

I hate Mondays.

I have a paper due on thursday and i'm ditching because i'm not feeling well and i have to take the bus to school... that takes 2 hours to get to school

It's Monday because when the anti-pope invented the calendar he decided to make the first day of the week the suckiest day of the week but only in Asia. For the rest of us it's just the first day of the work week.

Well, Saturday was a huge pub crawl (officially the worst and longest in the UK... ), and Sunday was spent recovering and watching all 3 Resident Evil movies in a marathon film session (would have picked a longer film series but with me getting up at midday and spending that time still recovering from a hangover, I didn't have the time for more than 3 films...).

Anyway, I digress. Mondays seem to be spent paying in karma points for the fun I have at weekends (although admittedly my weekends are usually boring, there's not much to do in Leeds unless you have a full day to spend, and I'm lazy). I have a 9 0'clock lecture, tutorial at 10am, then an hour off, then more university work until 3pm. Non-stop. Then when that's all done I have coursework and then Filmmaking Society meetings at 7pm until late at night. So my day is very full, and although I live on campus I still always end up late for the first lecture. Very busy. Then next year I'll be living a 15 minute walk away, and since I get up late anyway that'll mean more lectures missed. Thank God my timetable will change too, hopefully I'll get more time in bed... (goes off to sleep for 1.5 hours...)

But Wednesdays suck just as hard as Mondays do. Not in the same way, Mondays use more tongue while Wednesday has the vaccume-like grip for full suckage, but suck they both do.

Don't read too much into that...


But yeah, other days of the week suck just as bad, but that's pretty par for the course that is life. Cancer Man said it best...
