Why isn't Killzone 2 on the PC?!

Before the flames begin, yes, I realize it's an exclusive title meant to bring people to the PS3 but it is just so good that it causes me mental and physical anguish that I can't play it on my beloved laptop. After years of Counter Strike/CS:S, a fair amount of TF2, a bunch of Unreal games which didn't interest me, Quake 4's failure to entertain and a long but ultimately doomed to boredom stint in CoD4 I find myself without a good first person shooter to play.

I've considered getting Vegas or Vegas 2 but I really think the lack of tactical play which has been in the Rainbow 6 series since it's beginning will end up annoying me. I tried BF2142 again but it takes so long to unlock weapons that I found my interest waning in a week and I just don't see anything that truly interests me when I peruse the PC section of Best Buy.

I've been out of the gaming scene for about 3 months due to classes but I get the feeling PC has been left behind and I may have to invest in a console if I actually want to have fun gaming...

just buy a PS3

I'd recommend Left 4 Dead if you havn't already played it.

I test drove World at War and I found it lacking compared to CoD4 in the multiplayer arena so I didn't make much of an effort to get into it.

Why not get a ps3 btw? They are pricy yes, but not unaffordable (Coming for a student going to a school giving him just 8 weeks +- off a year so lil vacations to work in)

I will comment on the title <.<

The only reason developers release games for platforms instead of PC, is that it is harder to crack games to consoles, virtually impossible for PS3.
