The only adequate reason I can think of to close a beach is to prevent people from polluting it with litter. But then there are so many reasons as to why you shouldn't close a beach, such as tourism profits. What a stupid question.

I'm a little bit confused, this sort of contradicts itself doesn't it? Why close a beach in the summer, isn't that when most people go to a beach? You're teacher is either an idiot or is a real douche, arguing why beaches should be closed has no reasonable ground to stand on. Anything you say is going to sound crazy.
