Honestly, it just sounds like a bunch of /b/tards got bored.
I agree with this. I highly doubt it was anything like those "Hope" posters, just a bunch of idiots got bored.

Off topic question to the person I'm quoting, Why does everyone use "/b/tards"? Will you get banned if you put "re" infront of the tard part?
that made me laugh so hard i damn-near shot water out of my nose. NO. /b/tards refers to the 4chans random image board, also known as /b/, which are filled by a bunch of random people who like to commit rather dumb acts in real life, such as making copies of Obama in Joker make-up with the words "Socialist" under it.
Haha, I've never been to 4chan and from what I hear my ignorance is bliss. Sorry bout the dumb question.

If I were Barack, I'd be flatterd, but then again, I love the Joker. BTW, OP, I speak French, the word Bourgeoisie means "middle class".
It can also mean "overly concerned with things of a monetary nature" when used as an adjective.
Still has nothing to do with Joker Obama.

Being that "bourgeois" can be used as an insult (or just a description) of capitalists, and that Jokerbama apparently supports socialism, a political ideology opposite capitalism, it has everything to do with Jokerbama.

Politics aside, this is just plain ignorant. The Joker is an anarchist, and anarchism almost the exact opposite of socialism. Way to get attention, but if this was meant to be some manner of commentary it simply doesn't make sense.

Politics:

The beer summit saga has pretty much destroyed any hope I had for him. He took time out of a press confrence to discuss an issue that had nothing to do with the confrence at hand and was in no way related to his job as the president, and proceeded to make a comment on a situation that has been misconstrued and reconstrued repeatedly from the start. Maybe I'm reading too much into this, but it seems to me that the time he spent on the news talking about this could have been better spent elsewhere.

What's with all the hate for the right? the left and the libertairans suck just as much, in my opinion.
Yeah, just that you're important politically tells me that you're most likely a liar and a cheater. I'm cynical about politicians, all of them.

Anyway, I don't really care about what it stands for, but it's cool none-the-less. I like to see the public doing this sort of thing, whether I agree or not.

Maybe I'm missing something, but what do Obama, the Joker, and socialism have to do with each other?

I don't hate obama, just his policies, especially healthcare, my father worked as a doctor under the American, Slovakian, Czech, German, and Soviet healthcare systems, and he says that the American system is the best, and i agree.

But the Poster comparing Obama to the Joker is overboard,

As much as i dislike his policies, and as indifferent as i am to him as a person, i HATE people who go overboard on mudslinging campaigns even more, because extremism is almost always the wrong choice

Edit, actually Capitalism has been slowly dying since 1929, the Great Depression put an end to the true free market in the USA as the New Deal began giving government control over various industries.

The Joker makeup is just a slander technique, implying that his policies will do major harm to the american public, and the link to Socialism is that Obama plans to have the Government control one of the largest industries in the USA in the near future, in addition to controlling much of the economy already.

like i said, i don't like his policies, but the picture is overboard.
