OT: Anyone with any current gen platform would generally be considered to be ahead of the curve, having a wii doesn't mean anything. Hell not having a console doesn't mean anything, you may just not like games.

as it's already been said, it makes no sense to call some richer than others based on their console of choice, as they are luxury items.
that being said, it's a matter of taste. if you like to not always play the same-ish "western" stuff the wii is probably the console of choice (at least for me); if you're looking for the high-def-omg "so real!" FPS you're better off with a xbox or ps

of course there are some titles other consoles offer one might miss, but as long as you do not have all consoles and a pc that will always be the case, so that doesn't really mean a lot. i know there are people who buy a specific console for a single game or franchise (with maybe 2 or 3 games), but that's... well i wouldn't do it ^^

If that's the console that has the most games that you like, why not?

But if you buy many games for the Wii it is more expensive in the long run. Other than all of those attachments (yes, now the others have them too), games stay forever at their starting price. Zelda, a launch game or at least near launch one, still costs $50 last I checked. If I want a launch title for the PS3/360 I can definitely get it for $30, but probably even cheaper than that for a few of them which will have been reduced to $20.

Definitely 'or something'. Consoles don't do what I want so I don't use them.

I guess you are right, you cant swap donkey shows qith your "special interest" associates on a 360.

I don't think consoles denote social class, they are all pretty similar price wise. Gaming PCs tend to be for the more affluent though.
