It's making more money than god and it's bringing out great titles in the next few months, not to mention the library of great games it already has. Surely they are doing something better than the other two companies if they are making so much money, and why would you want technological facts?
Mainly because I don't believe the market speaks for what's good and what's not. Clearly I value getting the most out of the technology you have to work with, and nintendo has NOT done that.
Yeah, yeah, I played all of those "Nintendo favorites" you mentioned, but he only truly UNIQUE game (which the Wii strives to tell people is its forte) is No More Heroes.
When I look at games like Baroque and Okami, both of which look the SAME on the PS2 and Wii, the only difference for the Wii being its motion-sensing. I have to wonder whether the Wii is on par with the PS3 and the 360. Twilight Princess also looks THE SAME on gamecube and Wii, so I ask you for technical facts because I want to know if the fucking console I bought is just a gamecube with flash memory and a motion-sensitive controller, because the fucking Cell Processer and Blu-Ray-tech is a LOT more of an improvement to the last gen than that. That's the difference between PS2+ and PS3. Now what's made Wii SO much better than Gamecube? Because last I heard, people were begging for newly released games to have Gamecube controller compatibility. (Ex. Mario Kart and NiGHTS)
Well I have no idea what I could find typing 'wii system specs' into google that you can't, so I won't bother. I have heard that in terms of graphical content it is supposed to be a gamecube 1.5 or twice the power of said console. that makes it more than a gamecube with flash memory and a motion sensitive controller. Also, Zelda was made last minute on the wii, as it was just coming out and motion sensing controls were easy to implement. Just like the PS3 with its graphical content, the Wii is not at it's limit either.
Also, those games are ports. The changes they made are either in controller changes or nothing at all. Just like a ps3 port from the 360 looks the same, aside from one or two.
It's common knowledge now that Nintendo made a console that was not meant to advance miles in technological advancement, even though they could. It was a design choice that have spawned many good and original games from said choice. Blu Ray tech in a console has not done a great deal to the games yet, they may well make for larger games and a cheaper cost compared to two dvds, but To me that does not enhance the gaming experience right now, if at all. And plus the wii is a gaming console, not a entertainment system, which some are actually buying the ps3 for.
The talk of gamecube controller games on games such as Mario Kart was already implemented, so I have no idea what you are on about there, and where you heard this from. the Nights story obviously means that the developers did not spend enough time with it, or it means that the game just wasn't a good choice for that control scheme input. Not everything has to be wii remote implemented

What? when the hell did I say anything about any nintendo favorites? If you do want me to speak of unique wii titles, you have boom blox, you have Zack and Wiki, you have shaun white, you have skate it, and yes, you have No More Heroes, among others. Can you name me a unique game on the ps360 that cannot be done on either console, besides the level of graphical content? Their tech lies in enhancing gaming enjoyment, and so far they have done a good job of it without the use of a bloody cell processor. And FYI that cell processor, while I think will do them good for the 10 year lifespan that the PS3 is going for, it is killing them now.
