My brother said that if you aren't willing to take down enemy kill-streaks, you shouldn't play mw2. A day later he stopped taking down enemy kill-streaks.

Hypocrisy is when people say something then do something that goes against what they said

It is Not when someone says a misinformed Statement.

Last time I saw Hypocrisy was when my Grandmother said that Gossiping is bad then started gossiping about other people gossiping.
No I meant it like when someone says something that they KNOW is wrong. I think that should count as hypocrisy too.
That's actually called a lie.

Back when I was in secondary school there was this member of staff, he did teach but his official job was in admin, specifically personel. He was basically the go-to guy if you were in a lower year and getting bullied. Anyway, he was very outspoken against bullies saying that they were the worst people in the school (which I could agree with).

You can probably see where this is going... well as you've probably guessed not only was he utterly inneffectual at stopping bullying, any types of bullying, he also bullied kids himself. Not in the punchy punchy give me lunch money way, obviously, but he would call people names, tell them they would fail at everything they did generally be an ass to the people who needed his help.

He dissappeared in my third year of school and it's one of the few things I deliberatly didn't find out any details of (I was fairly well connected to the right people back then); to this day I like to think that he was found out and fired.

That is a delicious statement and, amusingly, ironic to a degree.

Thank you.

I don't think cigarette companies make any money on them because I also believe the government makes them fund the anti-smoking efforts.
They do, all the Anti-Smoking adds on TV are funded by them, as far as I know they are the only people who cant run adds for their product and have to run adds against it. As much as I don't like smoking the government has no place making a company do that, or taxing it so much.

When anti-theists tell religious people they're stupid for believing in something that can't be proven.

Uh, what? You're all athiests.
That's not hypocritical. It's more stupid than anthing else considering that God's existence can neither be proven nor disproven by either side.
Hence why it is hypocritical: they (the atheists) are saying the religious people are stupid for believing utterly in something that they cannot prove exists when they (atheists again) utterly disbelieve it without proof.

Someone would enjoy it.

It reminded me of

I tend to be exposed to and reveal a shitload of hypocrisy in people, so it's hard to truly nail down any specific type of hypocrisy that really gives a "wow-moment".

Hypocrisy abounds. My favorite is the people who say Gays are making a mockery of Marriages, yet they have gotten like 5 divorces after cheating on their wives.
What makes this even greater is when politicians get caught cheating. PEOPLE WHO OPENLY VOICE THIS MALARKEY.
Add on top of that, when politicians get caught cheating with men. Especially when they are on an antigay agenda!

I have two, One time at the beginning of the year my teacher was talking about how we're not allowed to have cell phones in class, and that we should leave them in our lockers/cars. 10 minutes later her own cell phone rings from inside her coat pocket. She went bright red.

One Friend of my gets pissed if i get a lucky kill and blames me for screen-peaking, where as he openly admits that he does it all the time.

I know a lot of people have been pointing this out, but oh well i will anyways. my online sources have said:
Hypocrisy= The practice of professing beliefs, feelings, or virtues that one does not hold or possess.

Some relatives of mine went on and on about how drugs were bad... and then I found a bong in an old lunch tin made out of aluminum foil and a toilet paper roll.

I still have no idea what that was all about.

A) The government has put many restrictions on smoking, and therfore have cut many of the place smokers would want to go to. That makes them smoke MORE actually, at home and in their car making them want to buy more so the price has increased.
This doesn't bother me. If people want to smoke themselves into oblivion that's their own problem. Just don't make me inhale your second-hand smoke in bars and restaurants.

I had a friend that said that any game with violence would, and I quote as perfectly as I can, 'Turn your brain into a melted/quasi-zombie mess.' Hw then went and played some Counter-Strike: Source.

Now, is that enough hypocrisy for ya?
