On February 11, 2006, Cheney accidentally shot Harry Whittington, a 78-year-old Texas attorney, in the face, neck, and upper torso with birdshot pellets when he turned to shoot a quail while hunting on a southern Texas ranch.

Whittington suffered a mild heart attack and atrial fibrillation due to a pellet that embedded in the outer layers of his heart. The Kenedy County Sheriff's office cleared Cheney of any criminal wrongdoing in the matter, and in an interview with Fox News, Cheney accepted full responsibility for the incident. Whittington was discharged from the hospital on February 17, 2006. Later, Whittington stated, "My family and I are deeply sorry for all that vice president Cheney has had to go through this past week."

As an expectant mother, I don't condemn this woman, I pity her. She doesn't deserve our scorn, she needs HELP, and a lot of it. There are a lot of reasons why a mother can be put in a position to abandon her child at birth, but here?... *shakes head* This story is wrong on so many levels, I wouldn't know where to start.

This is why we need to implement Eugenics again. I've already made my opinion clear on the practice in previous threads, but I'll sum it up in a few terse words:

And by fixed, I mean like our pal, Fido. Some people, however, deserve little more than a hot chunk of lead delivered to the brain, courtesy of the Smith & Wesson Express.

Cosidering stupidity isn't 100% hard-coded into people's genes (and even if it were, it'd be costly to gene-check everyone to make sure their genes don't make them too stupid for breeding), suggesting that sterilizing "stupid" people will decrease stupidity makes no sense. Unless you're also taking environment into account, in which case your logic still makes no sense, seeing as the cure for that is called "education," and it would be more worth everyone's while to improve education rather than go through the costly process of sterilizing people who don't have access to good education and dealing with a significantly smaller population year after year (which has another set of economic repercussions).

Also, what would the cut-off for stupidity be, exactly? Will you be eligible for sterilization for suggesting a course of action that makes little sense economically, scientifically, or socially?

Well since England takes up a major part of Britain it's technically correct to use Britain instead of England (is something happened in England it logically happened in Britain). It's wrong the other way around. I do know some people that think England = UK and that is plain ignorance though. And anyway my country is still largely know as a part of USSR or in better case as Czechoslovakia in the US, so you should be glad for such small issues.

This would be a point for forced sterilization until such time as a person has proven him/herself fit to be a parent. Drug addicts, no... addicted to opiates essentially means she's a heroine addict, doesn't it? But, if the economy is so tough right now, why not just commoditize everything?
