My accent causes me to mispronounce a few words. Like 'garage'. I say GUH-roj, but I hear it pronounced GAY-raj a lot.

...Do you work in Special Education? Gay-raj? What the fuck? Also, what accent do you have? I've never heard it pronounced GUH-roj. It's GAH-raaj, or GAH-razh, where zh is the closest to the sound the s makes in the word 'pleasure'.

I do have a Boston accent, and I pronounce the following words wrong.

-Park (Pahk)
-Yard (Yahd)
-Hard (Hahd)
-Fool (Foo. I drop the l, I don't even know why).

That seems to be the most common mispronounciation. Hell, even I thought it was me-me.

It's supposed to rhyme with "gene" because memetics is essentially genetics applied to bit of cultural information.

Last con I went to I learned that one of my favorite animes (Tengen Toppa Gurren Lagann) is pronounced Gurren Lag-on and I was saying La-gin.
I still say I'm right.

It's really easy for me to know the pronunciation of a word since my first language pronunciation of words is literal, as in a is not ae it's just ah or written a, and it's not meem it's MEH MEHQ!!.. At least I still pronounce it that

I don't know that I consistently mispronounce anything. I may mispronounce something if I am speaking too quickly or I'm drunk but usually I am the person my friends/family come to to hear a word pronounced correctly.

Edit : I don't count names because often they look nothing like how they are supposed to be pronounced.
