Look up a book called 'Convict Conditioning' by Coach Paul Wade.Stupid title maybe,but the information contained is priceless.All bodyweight exercises.Only 6 major exercises to master,and your encouraged to take your time slowly building up tendon and joint strength before attempting the harder stuff.
Gyms are a rip off.Its a well known fact that the majority of people who join a gym stop going after 3 months.They basically bank on that fact.If every person who joined turned up on the same day there'd be lines for every machine,bench,sauna and vending machine.
Not to mention they hold up muscle bound gym rats who could have only achieved that mass by juicing up on steriods as the pinnacle of fitness.Theres something seriously wrong with that.
