Leroy Jenkins. That name sounds very familiar. Who is he, exactly?Baby Tea said:Yeah that's true. The only WoW 'celebrity' I know is Leroy Jenkins, and what he did was fairly unspectacular (albeit freaking hilarious).Lt. It's because he was a warlock and with healer support has literally 0 downtime due to mana thanks to lifetap. The first to 70 was a mage and would have to drink at regular intervals even if he was just tagging stuff and letting his guild do most of the killing.Amnestic said:That seems a bit strange. It took the french Mage who was boosted by his entire guild 28 hours to get to level 70 as I recall. Odd that this guy would manage it in not only less time on the whole (what with more EXP required) but also with less people assisting him.
Still, grats to him I guess. Personally I've never been one to jump for the level cap, but whatever floats his boat.
I'm surprised you don't know! Even non-WoW players know!L1250 said:Leroy Jenkins. That name sounds very familiar. Who is he, exactly?Baby Tea said:Yeah that's true. Not the same guy. Nymh is the French player to 80, Nyhm is the one who does that lyrics youtube videos. Nymh states he travels to Ironforge at times to repair or such, but Nyhm is a blood elf Warlock.Calamity said:Isn't this the same guy that changed the lyrics of popular songs Weird Al style and made them into WoW videos?
I don't know, really. I guess it depends on the game and the overall canon of the universe. I'm sure the first guy to become a Jedi in that Star Wars MMO a while back was walking around like he was big sh*t for a while. The, er, "fame" will probably wear off in, I don't know, a month at most, but at least he'll have that achievement for the rest of his time in the game.Lt. Very well said. We can all learn from this man's sage-like wisdom.irishdelinquent said:*inhales*
NERRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRD!
At least you are getting your monies worth out of the game and enjoying what it has to offer.CantFaketheFunk said:And here I am only halfway to 72. I feel like less of a man.
What about Neil Armstrong do you remember him?Lt. Sera said:To be honest though, who really remembers the 'first to [anything]' guys?
That's slightly different though, for one thing American media, TV et al shoves that down the whole world's throat as often as it can. In addition comparing a WoW achievement to a feat such as walking on the moon is ridiculous.darthsmily said:What about Neil Armstrong do you remember him?
That's the guy that won the Tour de France, right?darthsmily said:What about Neil Armstrong do you remember him?
My God you're witty. Playing the "Virgin with a dead-end job" card, that's clever, really.ArKaiN123 said:I found a missing part of the interview:
Nymh, after our perfunctory interview, mentioned that he's never even so much as touched a woman, and that he cries himself to sleep every day when he comes back from his job at McDonald's.
If this Nymh fellow enjoyed his slog to be the first to level 80, then I'd say he got his money's worth out of it too. Games are there for fun, yes?Dommyboy said:At least you are getting your monies worth out of the game and enjoying what it has to offer.CantFaketheFunk said:And here I am only halfway to 72.
