Well... That's... Erhm... Pretty sad
Agreed. After all the work Blizzard put into the game just so this creepy little dick can sit around doing nothing more important, some fans are complete asshats.

its hilarious to see people who know games better than the actual developers
yeah, even I knew that, so im surprised Chris didnt - I just finished reading Day of the Dragon, and honestly, falstad is one of the main characters. Hes on the front cover. Theres alot about him - He didnt get hurt much, let alone killed during the book.

Congrats, kid, you've just proved yourself that you're more nerdy than most nerds. I guess he wins a mithril plaque now.

Every time I begin to think that I am a nerd for spending more time consuming and discussing media than I do anything else, I go to a midnight release or watch a Youtube video and see something like this. I then realize that I am incredibly normal. So very, very normal...

Good on him, I guess. I don't really get the obsession with lore and what's canon and what's not. If the suspesion of disbelief is good in whatever I'm watching/reading/playing I'll let things slide

I know that kid's voice from somewhere. Someone I met...

Ah yes, I know. A guy I knew at school. He had the same American-ish accent and the same pauses and slowing-downs. His was due to aspergers, so he wasn't that good at talking to people. I wouldn't be suprised if this kid had something like that as well, as it would also explain the fastidious attention to detail (plus awesome memory)

So the executive can't quote line for line the sprawling and epic and doubtlessly convoluted lore of WoW. So what? I would think knowing everything off the top of head is not really reasonable for anyone.

The developers so wanted to go, " look kid who the fuck cares, there's only so many ways we can devise to explain why you have to kill or collect stuff, he didn't get on the council because his sole job in life now is to give out a quest to collect 3 and a quarter inch blades of grass out of a volcano, good enough for ya?"
respect

Also what are they going to do now? change the name of the NPC?

oh ya i have more useful lore for this guy http://www.history.com/ people say you can actually apply it to life
I have to agree, humanity's "lore" is pretty badass

if this kid kept up with politics and became a journalists, he would probably win at life and political rhetoric in general.

...I would love to see an achievement related to this guy. I doubt it would happen but damn it would be awesome.

Goddamned Blizzard, other people know your source material better than you guys do. I mean, is there anything more shameful than that?
