All anime is bad. All of it. No exceptions.
I bludgeon you over the head with Miyazaki and Cowboy Bebop, along with the sheer variety that will probably have something that fits your tastes.
The only reason to watch Cowboy Bebop, or any anime for that matter, is to drink whenever the dog/Wabbafet is on screen because they are the coolest characters on the show.

You obviously have not read any of the posts before including your own. Just read one page at least. If you don't know what I am talking about, find out and read them.

OT:
I can agree with alot of the negative views of Naruto and Bleach, however I can not agree that either is the worst ever. There are far far worse out there. Naruto Shuppiden and Bleach are currently in good places in their respective stories.
The Manga is much better about that. Why Freiza took two seasons to kill in the anime is beyond me...
The worst one I have seen would probably be Yu-gi-oh. It seemed to me to be created with the singular purpose of selling the merchandise.
I would follow this closely with Dragonball Z. For a anime about epic battles, I think it took the epic and applied it to how long they could stretch out each battle.
The manga isn't nearly as bad about that. Why it took two season to kill Frieza in the anime is beyond me.

I'm gonna go out on a limb here and say that the entire "eechi" or "perverted" genre of anime is the worst of all time. What person in their right mind would watch a show without an iteresting and original plot, no characters with interesting personas that viewers can identify with, and EXTREMELY overused lines and dialog(i.e. desu, Ill give it my all!, and thats horrible...)

But, then again, its gott bewbs hurr hurr hurr

Ugh...
It's posts like these that make me really want the O Rly? Owl to come back.

Oh Rly? Softcore porn focuses more on boobs than storyline? No wai!

I forget the name (Vandread, or something) but it is essentially an intergalactic cootie war. I'm not lying to you.
In its defense, it's like that because Men and Women lived in different planets (quite literally) in that anime. As such, it's probably the most primed Rule 34 anime out there.

That just seems weird to me. It would make for an excellent set-up to porn though.
And isn't all anime primed for 34ism? I thought it was a requirement at this juncture.

Oops, I meant that it is primed for a lot of fanfic (rule 34ish or not), since you can pair anyone up with anyone in that anime.

And EVERYTHING is primed for rule 34. Even A can of Mountain Dew and a Sandwich.

POKEMON thats all
It was pretty good in its first season for a kids show, ok in its second season, and then yeah it's pretty much crap.

And while Yu-gi-oh is stupid (not because of your post, just this thread in general), I'll just play devil's advocate and say that being made to merchandise was a good bit 4kids fault. Also, from what I know the plot's pretty decent in the original (aside from being about a children's card game, of course). And it gave us the abridged series, which proves it's not all bad.

Out of the ones that I've tried to sit through, Gravitation. Why? Because the characters are just plain unlikeable. One's a prissy whiner, the other's a douche.
I second that... it's a common thing in Yaoi to have bland, uninteresting, unlikeable characters. I've only read one Yaoi manga that had interesting characters. :\

The storyline sucked too. It was about as interesting as the characters. Oh! Apart from that one weird guy, his voice actor was Usopp from One Piece. X3

There's a lot of great anime.

And a lot of bad anime. I can't stand harem-style anime. (My one exception to this is Ranma 1/2 because it's a comedy.)

Note: Poster is not responsible for any seizures, depression, sudden changes in bowel movements, your trip to west hollywood, marriages, past marriages, or any other things that would result in a lawsuit.
This takes the place as worst anime ever, I haven't watched that many animes but this is by far the worst I've seen.

Vandread and Steel Angel Kurumi take the cake for me. In the first case an aquaintance of mine, to whom I had lent quite a few of my dvds in the past, lent it to me explaining that it was to him what gundam is to me. We hung out alot of on a class trip a few days later, and the main thing I had to say to him about is is "Really? REALLY?". As for Steel Angel Kurumi I had seen some of it's maker's recent works and rather enjoyed them. I knew that one of them, Shattered Angels, had more than a few references to it throughout and whilst I could see them, I didn't want to continue through the whole thing because unlike the two others I had seen the characters were unlikable, The Imperial Japanese Army depicted way to positively given EVERYTHING I KNEW ABOUT THEM and it seemed to be on a mission to be everything bad about anime.

So why is it bad?
It's predictable as hell
I swear if you can honestly predict everything that is happening in the manga and anime, then nothing will be unpredictable for you. Was it predictable that Pain

Blew Up Konoha?

Or when Itachi

Was forced to annihilate his own clan at the behest of his village?

Or when

Sasuke Joined Akatsuki?

Or when

Kabuto absorbed Orochimaru's corpse?

And I can actually keep going. If you are going to tell me that all of those were predictable, then a picture paints a thousand words

there are far too many episodes with no sign of stopping even though the show and manga both hit their peak long ago (same with Bleach)
There are hardly too many episodes, most of what has happened arc wise had to happen, it's not like other anime when if things were cut out everything would still make sense. I've been hearing that Bleach is suffering for copypasta syndrome as of late, if you want you can have that, I only watch the anime. But Naruto hasn't really had two arcs that are really similar. If you compare it with, say, Tenjho Tenge where Oh! Great doesn't really know what he's doing any more, so it's dragging on, Kishimoto seems to have a grand plan with the entire story, as more revelations come and certain motives are changed. It's far from it's peak in my opinion.
and the character design is meh at best.
I think the character design is pretty good, but I also think that he has far far too many characters in one series, and doesn't know what to do with them. But each to his own.
The story is boring and derails itself often to go on a tangent but never returns to the original pre-derailment plot (see: Naruto wanting to be Hokage, but that arc turned into a rescue and the idea never returned)
That was never an arc, it was a character motive. The fact remains that he is giving characters underlying motives that change over time, the rescue of his friend overrode his desire to be Hokage at the time. Besides that I can't see the plot actually derailing, it just changes over time. As for boring, see above.
the villains are all terrible and/or cliché to hell
The only truly cliche villain they had was orochimaru, he wanted power for no reason. Right now this could also be applied to Kisame if you wish, but we know nothing about him as of late. Itachi is an interesting villain, and so was Pain to a degree (you could say he was half and half between cliche and interesting) and
Right now, Sasuke as a villain is irritating, but far from cliche, and that is mainly because he is almost without motive in a sense
Besides this, , and the characters who are actually interesting are fairly quickly written out or killed. Also, plot holes
Hmmm. Written out? I guess that's subjective in a sense because it depends on who you find interesting. I like the original rookies because they were entertaining, but they weren't interesting in the sense that I know everything about them.
Kakashi is another one who is interesting, and hasn't been written out or killed yet. There are others also.
As for plot holes, I like hearing about those actually, could you name some please?

Honestly, it's turned into another DBZ where fights last forever just because the creators are out of any original thoughts whatsoever, so they have to stall with random flashbacks and shit. "I'm almost dead! But wait. I have another power! So do you? Fuck. Guess this shit's going for three more episodes."
Bah, that's nonsense. Bleach is more like DBZ than Naruto is, both authors have named DBZ as one of their influences, but Bleach Reeks of it through it's scale of fighting. From the flight to the abilities, they are being purposely held back for no reason at times. Naruto I disagree with.

Yu-Gi-Oh sucked pretty bad when I used to watch it when I was little. Never really cared for it at all.

I wouldn't know. Unlike most of you, I'm actually smart enough to limit myself to reading manga and ignoring anime completely.

I actually liked the original Hellsing until it started to deviate from the manga, still haven't gotten around to watching Ultimate Hellsing. For me most dubbed anime is like a train wreck I can't tear my eyes away from.
