Not "exactly" a cartoon but Rasta Mouse is a personal hate. My youngest sings the theme tune and it makes my ears bleed.

Judge for yourselves people.

Please tell me that's fake. Please.

Regular Show has a hatedom. What.

Anything other than MLP:FiM has already been said, so I'll go with F***ING METAL FUSION.

For children: Yo Gabba Gabba
-I've never actually been afraid of a show... until I saw this...

For General Audiences: Johnny test
-Yeah, I know that lotsa other people have said it but... it's just so fucking true!!!

But the winner is...

...lets face it, it should have died about 350+ episodes ago... I found that Ash is just facing the exact same situations over and over again except they change the names and places a bit...

"Quick Squirtle, use Watergun!"
"Quick Mudkip, use Water Pulse!"
"Quick Oshowatt, use Scald!"

Crap...the problem with this question is the fact that a lot of modern day kids shows could easily qualify as the worst. Mostly because of the fact that a lot of those shows have been dumbed down to make them "kid friendly", but to the point that it almost seems that the creators were assuming that your kids are pants-on-head retarded who need their hand held in order to learn ANYTHING.

Seriously...just look at either Blues Clues, Dora the Explorer, or anything else on Nickelodeon nowadays and you'll see what I mean. Personally, Nickelodeon has a lot of good examples of BAD children's television. It was better back when I was a kid and they were importing good kids' shows from Thames Television.

Nope it's really not fake.

It's on childrens TV here in the UK and has my youngest daughter trying to talk like a Jamaican and sounding amazingly silly.

http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Rastamouse

It's also made in the UK ..... the least Rasta centric country possible.

Living proof that TV chiefs have lost whatever plot they thought they had.

Though i'd like to chalk up a lot of the hate to nostalgia glasses and just bin the various insults, I have to say that today's cartoon quality has plummeted. Especially when viewed compared to the mid-90s to 2k boom that we saw thanks to Warner Brothers, Klasky-Csupo on Nickelodeon and Tartakovsky/Faust on Cartoon Network

Nowadays, though, we do have to contend with stuff like Total Drama Island, Johnny Test and any of the Dora wannabes targeted at that massive kid demographic. And, sadly enough, when crappy shows finally have the decency to just die, another crappy show is waiting in the wings to take it's place.

Actually, come to think of it, I think the nostalgia factor is one of the reasons MLP is so popular. It's two main writers are from that same era that we grew up with [Rob Renzetti got his start with a horrible show, but went on to work on some of the greats] and they know how to hit at the rose-tinted heartstrings without the 'THIS IS RETRO!' screaming that others attempt at. Then again, i've only watched a few episodes, and I still don't see why the heck everyone thinks it's the second coming of Animation.

In the scheme of things, though, i'd rather watch it than Problem Solverz, Johnny Test or Diego the Explorer.
Hold on they actully made a spinoff of dora the exploer? What are these networks are they this artistically bankrupet?

im gonna go off on a limb and say the one cartoon that is AMAZING
here it is
look familiar? like the dark knight returns? its the references, the animation, everything that makes this the 2nd best batman cartoon EVER. 1st? obviously animated series.
okay, worst? oh, geez, so many to pick. i would have to say that stupid gumball show. ugh. all those stupid modern slurs, use of the word crap like a noun (its a kids show, by the way.) it just disgusts me.
Fun Fact the Joker in this Batman is Dexter's Dad from Dexter's Laboratory.
i thought he sounded familiar...
The dude (whose name eludes me at the moment) is actually a pretty talented voice actor...

I'll pile on with the B&B love and say to those who gave it a miss give it a second look. They've got SO many amazing stories that could only be done in this setting. Meeting completely obscure villians from Batman's history? Batman facing his parent's killer? Batman facing a music based villian played by NPH? A retelling of the fall of Ted Kord (The Original Blue Beetle) that doesn't make you puke? Making Aquaman a fun character? It's all there, in the Brave & the Bold.
What? A silly, retro Batman cartoon that isn't dark and edgy that also happens to be good? Outrageous!
Sorry I couldn't resist. BTW has anyone else noticed that Batman actually has probably the best cartoon show track record. I mean Batman the Animated Series was amazing, The Batman was pretty damn good in its own right, Batman Beyond and its movie tie in Return of the Joker were nothing of short of awesome and now Batman: The Brave and Bold does what Adam West couldn't, that is, making a campy, retro Batman not just cool but fun!
i feel pretty good that now around 40% of the people scrollin on this thread are bat-fans. the rest are bronies and other people. have you seen the superman episode? i'm saying this a lot because it has a the dark knight returns reference, and its just plain fun to see superman being an asshole due to red kryptonite.
I'm sorry but if its not Kevin Conroy voicing then I DO NOT watch it.....its that simple
Well you could check the episode "Chill of the Night!" which has Kevin Conroy playing the Phantom Stranger making a wager against the Spectre (played by Mark Hamill) for Batman's free will.

Really, it even makes sense it's not Conroy playing Batman this time, this is another universe, one where the sky isn't mercury red and Batman doesn't focus his efforts in Gotham's criminal underbelly, lurking in the shadows. And that's good. It'd be very hard to out-BTAS BTAS.

I could write an entire freaking college-level essay on why I hate Johnny Test. The show is just so poorly handled it's horrifying. I have no clue how it has lasted this long or why it was renewed for yet another season.

Like a lot of other people, I don't like Problem Solverz either, but at least that show TRIES to be funny and artistically valid (although I personally don't think purposefully bad drawings and collour pallets that are meant to HURT you eyes count as an artistic style).

I also think the Total Drama series has overstayed its welcome (for those of you who don't keep up with cartoon news, it's coming back). And while I don't think it's still on the air that 6teen crap -and the beach one- was horrid.

I stopped watching spongebob a long time ago, but from what I hear its really gone down the shitter.
I did recently watch an episode of Family Guy after a long ass time, and the jokes really have turned to shit. A five minute rip of the beacon lighting scene from Lord of the Rings is supposed to be a goddamn JOKE!? I don't care what you say, that shit's not funny anymore. Hell, American Dad is funnier and that's a spinoff show! All Family Guy is doing now is cashing in on the stoner crowd.

I don't really watch shows for really young kids or toddlers anymore, so I can't really join in the hate brigade on that front.
I also turn the channel every time Sidekicks and Almost Naked Animals comes on because I'm positive I'll hate them.
I hate the Penguins of Maddagasgar, without even having seen an episode, simply for it being a shitty movie tie-in show that follows in Jimmy Neutron and Barnyard's (also hated shows) footsteps.
I also hate Mongo Wrestling Alliance, but I think that has more to do with me never having been a wrestling fan. I used to hate Squidbillies too, but that show ended up growing on me (much like King of the Hill did).

Finally, I'm surpriesed there's so much hate for Cartoon Network's new cartoons. I mean, compared to the horrors that were Camp Lazlo, My Gym Partner is a Monkey *shudder*, and the live-action bullcrap, Chowder, Flapjack, Adventure Time, Gumball, Regular Show, and MAD are a freaking GODSEND!

EDIT OH! And I really, really, REALLY, hate Bakugan! That shit is designed to wrangle as much money out of kids as humanly possible- even worse than any cartoon you might be thinking to compare it to. Here's what I learned about the rules from a kid who came to the toy store where I worked:
Parts required: Mat for playing on, action figures, cards, action figure launchers, MORE action figures from a "different class", fucking DICE, and even MORE action figures that are slightly bigger than the others!
Did I mention all this shit is REQUIRED, and it's all sold separately at ridiculously marked-up prices?

And Pony haters? I DARE you to go on The Hub, on a weekday (Tues-Fri only) at 1:00 in the afternoon and marathon Strawberry Shortcake, MLP: FiM, and JEM. I swear to god if you don't think ponies are a step in the right direction for not just girls cartoons, but cartoons in general, after that, then you are either a liar or fucking brain-dead!

THE Batman ( he looks like jackie from Jackie chan adventures and everyone else looks dumb and is a sad comparison to the 90s cartoon)

Teletubbies....really WTF...

Camp lazlo is also bad. just bad writing and animation.
But... that's because The Batman was made by the same company as Jackie Chan Adventures. Jeff Matsuda did the character designs for both shows. I personally didn't mind it, as some of the voice acting was really good.

Sure it isn't Mark Hamill and Kevin Conroy, but you've got Rino Romano as Batman, and Kevin Michael Richardson as the Joker! That's pretty good. However, I hated that version of Harley Quinn.

Umm... I think you mean Courage the Cowardly Dog. And... little surprised to see someone that hates the show.
That's the one. I had my 7 year old tell me the name, sorry it was incorrect. I had to ban the show as it kept scaring him. After watching it myself I decided that it can join the banned list along with Chowder and Flapjack.

Worst shows: Fanboy & Chum Chum The Problem Solversz and pretty much anything on Disney.
By the looks of it I may be the only person who likes Squidbillies, I mean no one finds this funny:

So. Many. Shows.

Kid's shows were alot better back in the early 90's, grew up on DBZ, BeyBlades, Digimon, Thomas The Tank Engine, Sam and Max. (I did anyway.)

Now its all this educational crap like Dora The Explorer and shit.
It's not all like that. Have you ever seen Regular Show? Most of the stuff Cartoon Network shows isn't educational stuff
Unless teaching naughty words qualifies.

Big cartoon fan for 19 years and thats the most striking thing Ive ever heard on a kids show.
Theres a few good reasons I like that show.

Now you just gave me another.
