Family Guy. It's poorly written, weak in humour and adored by young-teens who prefer its crudity and irrelevance over subtle and intelligent humour.
I agree with you completely, but would like to add robot chicken to the list of terrible cartoons (if you can call it a cartoon?)

The worst cartoon today for someone old will be the best cartoon tomorrow for someone young. ;)

The ones I normally hear the most complaints about I either thoroughly enjoy or recognize a competency at work that some shows I grew up around lacked. (I was born in '81.) Some shows today do strike me as pointless or dull, but I can usually identify their appeal. I do notice, though, there are less animated series these days which either 1) respect their audience or 2) offer lively (read: animated) content.

I can rattle off many shows I think are overrated, both past and present. And I could list a slew of shows which I think are less worthy of airtime than others which have been canceled. However, I cannot single out a worst animated series, so instead I'll name the one which has most recently angered me:

The Looney Tunes Show

Even ignoring the entirety of the franchise's history and taking this series as it's own independent entity, I find it unbearably boring and vacuous.

Johnny Test. Problem arises or they caused it. Break into lab. They save the day or just their own skin. Every... freaking.... episode (95%). *Shoots self in foot* Much better.
Try agai..... in fact your not allowed to work in television anymore. The great purge has begun!

More people need to watch 6Teen. It is made by the same guys who did Total Drama Island, but it is much better. Six people hang out in a mall and weird shit happens. Also, Jude is a flippin' stoner in everything but name.

Shame the states are so freaked out by nudity.

..... That show has nudity?

... The fuck?

OP: Fanboy and something. That one show on Nick.
Occasionally. Black bar censors of course, but its apparently enough to keep it from the States. The show is still hilarious. It's played for laughs anyways.

There's a house full of adults here that all disagree with you.

Probably Squid Billies. I have never enjoyed any of that show. Also the art is terrible.

Has and until cancelled shall be Spongebob Squarepants. Completely pointless without nerit or entertainment value. Makes fun of mentalily disabled people.

I'm sure there are. I'm going on my opinion and experiences with it.

The new Scooby Doo. I mean, I like the new graphical style and the ultra exagerated villain design, but tranfroming the uninteresting characters into even more uninteresting characters made it as bad as the 80's show and the movies. And yes, I actually watched the movies. And I still watch Scooby Doo... don't judge me >.>'

im gonna go off on a limb and say the one cartoon that is AMAZING
here it is
look familiar? like the dark knight returns? its the references, the animation, everything that makes this the 2nd best batman cartoon EVER. 1st? obviously animated series.
okay, worst? oh, geez, so many to pick. i would have to say that stupid gumball show. ugh. all those stupid modern slurs, use of the word crap like a noun (its a kids show, by the way.) it just disgusts me.
Fun Fact the Joker in this Batman is Dexter's Dad from Dexter's Laboratory.
i thought he sounded familiar...
The dude (whose name eludes me at the moment) is actually a pretty talented voice actor...
I'll pile on with the B&B love and say to those who gave it a miss give it a second look. They've got SO many amazing stories that could only be done in this setting. Meeting completely obscure villians from Batman's history? Batman facing his parent's killer? Batman facing a music based villian played by NPH? A retelling of the fall of Ted Kord (The Original Blue Beetle) that doesn't make you puke? Making Aquaman a fun character? It's all there, in the Brave & the Bold.

I have a firm and unwavering hatred for Star Wars: The Clone Wars. Having seen the Trilogy and the pretenders (episodes 1-3) there is absolutely no chance of drama whatsoever. I know that every main character, even a lot of the supporting characters, are going to survive so anytime they show Anakin in 'mortal peril' I know that he's going to escape. Plus, I loathe the new 'Star Wars' trilogy.

Fanboy and Chum-chum and Almost Naked Animals are both horrible shows due to idiotic jokes and eighth-assed puns (especially Poopintine from Fanboy and Chum-chum).

Johnny test gets an (dis)honorable mention because of the endlessly recycled plots, with only minor inconsequential changes (i.e. different villain or location), and recycled jokes.

I have to also mention Family Guy for its overuse of 'overly long gags', like several minutes of Conway Twitty or nearly Peter skating around repeating 'Starlight Express'. Though I haven't seen the show in months, so they may have moved away from that particular crime.

also, whatever happened to awesome shit like this for commercials/between shows?

I used to watch cartoon network all day so the little music videos annoyed me because they kept repeating.

To be honest, almost everything if you exclude re-runs of old episodes/shows.

However, this will hopefully be fixed when The Legend of Korra is released.

So. Many. Shows.

Kid's shows were alot better back in the early 90's, grew up on DBZ, BeyBlades, Digimon, Thomas The Tank Engine, Sam and Max. (I did anyway.)

Now its all this educational crap like Dora The Explorer and shit.
Dora the Explorer is the laziest piece of shit on television. A monkey sidekick? How inspired.

But the rest of those, definitely. I loved the Sam and Max cartoon. And Thomas was great. Oh how I hate what it has become though. Remember how Thomas used to be extensive model trains that looked really impressive? This is what modern thomas looks like.

It is truly horrific.
WHAT THE HELL! D:

I am utterly speechless, where is Ringo Starr's VO?? Wow.

The worst cartoon to me is George the Cowardly Dog. I can't stand that utter shit. I wont even let my kids watch it. Oh I also hate Adventure Time, it's so stupid.
