Johnny Test... just... Why?
Not only did they ripoff and reverse Dexter's Lab, but could not have screwed it up more. The creator and the person who greenlit the show are on the top of my hi-- err "Gift" list
im gonna go off on a limb and say the one cartoon that is AMAZING
here it is
look familiar? like the dark knight returns? its the references, the animation, everything that makes this the 2nd best batman cartoon EVER. 1st? obviously animated series.
okay, worst? oh, geez, so many to pick. i would have to say that stupid gumball show. ugh. all those stupid modern slurs, use of the word crap like a noun (its a kids show, by the way.) it just disgusts me.
I'll pile on with the B&B love and say to those who gave it a miss give it a second look. They've got SO many amazing stories that could only be done in this setting. Meeting completely obscure villians from Batman's history? Batman facing his parent's killer? Batman facing a music based villian played by NPH? A retelling of the fall of Ted Kord (The Original Blue Beetle) that doesn't make you puke? Making Aquaman a fun character? It's all there, in the Brave & the Bold.
What? A silly, retro Batman cartoon that isn't dark and edgy that also happens to be good? Outrageous!
Sorry I couldn't resist. BTW has anyone else noticed that Batman actually has probably the best cartoon show track record. I mean Batman the Animated Series was amazing, The Batman was pretty damn good in its own right, Batman Beyond and its movie tie in Return of the Joker were nothing of short of awesome and now Batman: The Brave and Bold does what Adam West couldn't, that is, making a campy, retro Batman not just cool but fun!
i feel pretty good that now around 40% of the people scrollin on this thread are bat-fans. the rest are bronies and other people. have you seen the superman episode? i'm saying this a lot because it has a the dark knight returns reference, and its just plain fun to see superman being an asshole due to red kryptonite.
Agreed, though Kevin Conroy and Mr Skywalker are nowhere to be seen most of the Batman cartoons have been nothing short of epic. Morgan you are missing out BIG TIME.
Hmm I actually have to think about this. I was gonna say the new stuff on cartoon network, but most of it's actually pretty decent stuff.
Wait, I got it. The Wolverine anime:
You could say I'm cheating, if you qualify anime and cartoons as two separate things, but I don't they're both animation and in my eyes, both cartoons. Plus I can't think of anything else.
Oh and as for the anime itself, well I wonder who thought it was a good idea to have an anime about Wolverine that completely disregards almost everything about him as a character. It goes deeper than him looking just wrong, granted his appearance is a part of why it doesn't work, but it's not the only reason.

Anything that isn't the new Thundercats. That reboot is like watching a mini LOTR every week, thus making everything else look poorly written and boring.
This pretty much sums up my sentiments. There are so many bad cartoons on TV nowadays. You know now that I think about it this is probably what happens when almost all the cartoon talent was used up in the 90s and early 2000s. Batman: The Animated Series, Samurai Jack, and Toonami just to name a few. God I miss those times.
Nowadays we have crap like: Hero 108 (most irrelevant title ever), Chowder, Problem Solverz, and I can't even believe someone came up with this next one let alone that I have to type it (gulp) Almost...Naked...Animals. GOOD GOD! That has got to be not only the worst name I've ever heard but the worst idea ever.
However there is perhaps one offender that is worse than that. I speak, of course, about...Spongebob Squarepants. Now I'm hesitant to admit this but I liked the older episodes. The show used to be funny in an almost looney toonish sort of way. Now it's just a few steps above humor for complete morons.
THIS! my little brother watches..the show I will not type. and I remember samurai jack THAT SHOW FUCKING RULED that and Animaniacs I fucking love Animaniacs.

Word up. That show is amazing. The last episode, "Song of the Petalars", no lie, got me teary eyed.
I'm 32 years old.
It's that damn good. And this is coming from a huge fan of the original, and a guy that, as a general rule, hates remakes of anything from his childhood. (I'm looking at you, Transformers and GI Joe.)
I don't really know what the worst thing that's on is. I want to go with something I've never watched because it looked stupid. Chowder, Adventure Time and the Ordinary Show all qualify as things that I've never watched and think look like crap. Though I could be wrong. I'm gonna vote Generator Rex.
For those of you who think the 90's had better toons you're dead wrong. There are only a handful of shows from the 90's that are as good or better than the standard fare floating around today. Batman the Animated Series, Gargoyles, Spiderman (debatable), and anything by Speilberg (except Freakazoid).
The 2000's have given us TMNT 2k3, Batman the Brave and the Bold, Spectacular Spiderman and again that's right off the top of my head. Trust me kids today by and large are spoiled beyond belief.

Johnny Test has some fine jokes. Like the one where johnny signs up for the america's army game and it asks him if he's 18. He lies, turns to his dog and says "see Dookie, I'm EIGHTEEN." Then when he gets the high score the army comes for him ala Last Starfighter. That's great. Seriously.

Either the Cleveland Show or Dora the Explorer. The Cleveland Show is a cheap cash-in on Family Guy (at least American Dad does things differently) and Dora The Explorer is just terrible. I would like to see those "lessons" being implemented in real life. "Mugger no mugging! Ow! You shot me!"
