Yeah... Yoshi Story. That game was SO HYPED when it was coming out. I typically rented but for this one just went ahead and bought it. Myself and all my siblings were just as infuriated as me when they saw it. First it was the shock of how childish it all was. Then when that faded it was it's length.. The level design is not bad actually but it's not a 65 dollar game that's for sure.

Recently I also got Duke Nukem Forever. I just had to get it no matter what. Had to own it for myself considering the game. Their little trick worked on me :(. On my first play through got 60% of the trophies w/o a guide. So fucking pathetic!

I would have to say Hunter:the reckoning, or Resident Evil Outbreak. Brutal Legend was a Huge letdown after Psychonauts, The Red Ninja did not let me change the Y or X axis....so trying to move like I am used to only made the camera swing under her skirt.

Two worlds, and worse I bought it over oblivion since i'd heard (from friends) it was better. Still i went back a couple of hours later, told the guy the game didn't work, got a refund and got oblivion lol.

Aside from the vast number of games that refuse to run on my PC? Most likely Numen: Contest of Heroes. Blech.

Marvel vs Capcom 3.

After around 80+ hours of playing it, I could not get over how bloody broken the game's mechanics are. I got Super Street Fighter IV and I've been playing that instead.

Medieval 2 Total War on Steam. The Steam version doesn't support mods, which are the best part of the game.
The Steam version totally does support mods, I am currently using the Lord of the Rings full conversion mod with the game, which I bought on steam. You just need to re-install and read the instructions. its pretty complex, with re-naming of files and deleting .exe's but its totally possible.

Sacred
Had no idea what was going on, what my motivation was, and the interface was insufficient to allow smooth skill usage.

Dragon Age II
It's not terrible but it was a let down to me)

Brink
Had some fun playing against bots with my Bro, but there are too few maps. It has/had potential if they had more content before they released it, or pile it on soon. Currently the replayability/variety is insultingly lacking.

I bought Kingdom Hearts Re:Coded. If it was used, I could maybe have justified it, but no, I actually pre-ordered it.
THIS! All this! THAT was the one and only game I could think of and I'm glad I wasn't the only one who did all this!

I heard it came with some special postcards or something. So I, being a young and loyal KH fan (Back then), hurried over to my nearest GameStop and I pre-ordered the game even though I already had it for the GBA.

Once I had it, I think I played like an hour worth of gameplay. Up until today, i haven't finished it or played further than that. But I won't sell it either because I know GameStop will give me like 5 dollars for it, if I'm lucky.

Second choice would be Brutal Legend. I figured a pseudo-funny game with Jack Black and rock music could be worth my while, if not only for the lulz. But it got boring fast. I got so bored and tired of it that I actually traded it in for whatever.

Unlimited Saga

$80.00 I could have taken to the casino to spend on slot machines and I would have had the exact same experience... except the casino would have been fun.

No More Heros 2: Desparate Struggle. I thought it would be a bit more... fun. The little mini games were annoying and the bosses were just irritating. Not at all what I was expecting.

OH, SNIP!
My rule when buying games:

-If it's based off a movie or a TV show, chances are it will not be a good game.

(Pity cause I love Avatar)
It's probably unfair to those...5 good games based off movies/TV shows that are actually good, but I've noticed about 90% of games that fall under those categories are bad. So bad. Like crying-myself-to-sleep bad.

Last one I regret: Brink.

Repetitive game, bad AI, and it was short. After playing the Campaign, there was not much to do expect collect all the trophies. Waste of $59.99 + tax. That and preordering it.

I bought Rockstar Presents: Table Tennis, it seemed like a good idea at the time, thankfully it was only $10
