Title says all, what does the escapist community think the worst handling vehicle is?

In my opinion, the trophy's got to go to Mass Effect's Mako. Sometimes, I'll just barely move the thumbstick, which sends the Mako flying in the exact opposite direction I want, leaving me in a pit of lava and having to restart at a checkpoint. Hopefully, they'll improve the vehicle segments in the upcoming sequel.

Seriously, I never understood the issue with the Mako... did they improve it for the PC version or something?

Any vehicle in Haze, the game was bad enough without vehicles that handled like an angry pregnant ferret.

Mako? Really? Not Warthog or that piece of crap thing from the first Gears? Mako admits it goes crazy, by being near impossible to flip permenantly over. The gears thing causes your death a billion times, and the Warthog kills everyone else.
Plenty worse vehicles in games than the Mako.

Actually I believe that was one of the major improvements, along with the upgraded hacking minigame.

The Puma in Ratchet: Gladiator (or Deadlocked as it's known in America... I think).
I was all over the place in that thing, the little bumps that threw me around not really helping. Or the giant scorpians, they didn't help either.

Which is odd, as with the exception of perhaps the troop carrier brute bike thing from Halo 3, I felt most of the Halo vehicles handled quite well. Some were a bit liable to flying randomly after rolling over a pebble, but that's not really handling so much as messing up their weight/flight physics.

Equally, with the exception of trying to drive up hills, only having an "up" booster rather than a forward pushing boost, the Mako handled fine for me. You just needed to get use to the swingback after rounding a corner.

My personal choice? The thankfully short lived vehicle section of the FPS game Timeshift in which you took control of a quadbike.

Incredibly unnecessary, poorly programmed and really quite tedious.

The 1985 Ford Bronco II.
Seriously.

Though if you're talking about gaming vehicles, then it would have to be Epona.
That damned horse would refuse to jump half the time, couldn't climb steps, and was SLOW.

I was suprised that I didn't hate the Warthog, athough thats why the PC version is always best.

I would have to say any vehicle that I don't tweak myself on Dirt.

The only ones I can think of are the Mako (Mass Effect) and the camaro-ish thing in Half Life 2:Episode 2.

I enjoyed the Mako in the 360 version, the terrain is what's annoying.

The Junker in Gears of War is much worse, I hate that section.

The reason I hated the vehicles in Halo was that you went where you looked.

This is probably a product of only ever playing PC FPSs, but being able to look around while driving in a straight line is important to me, and the fact you need 2 people to do that in a Warthog just completely ruined it for me.

GTA4 still costs too damn much so I'm gonna have to say GTA: Vice City cars handled worse than autistic Rhino's trapped in tar. I don't know why they screwed with GTA3's engine but turning 90 degrees over the course of half an hour in a 3 minute timed event isn't helpful. I found myself legging it most of the time which was fine because that meant more people to maim between point A and point B.
