Worst job was stuffing envelopes for a marketing company. We were in a basement without air conditioning or windows...felt kind of like a dungeon.
That I could not do, being stuck in a room with even a few other people for long periods of time with no ventilation, I would lose my mind.xmetatr0nx said:Worst job was stuffing envelopes for a marketing company. I Had a job like that, except i hasd to knowck on peoples doors from 1pm til 10 pm, and it was all commission based, so if i didnt get anybody to sign up, i didnt make any money, but at least it wasnt in burger king, even though i at least got paid there i still vote it as my worst job EVERWinkyTheGreat said:I once worked at a call center for The Ohio State University. I was there for a whopping 3 weeks before leaving. The hours were bad (from 5pm to 9pm. Not good for someone who commutes to school). On top of that, the job just overall sucked. Calling people for 4 hours asking people to donate money. Often, these people had never given before and clearly never planned on giving. The only good call I ever had was an old man from Florida. We talked for 40 minutes about the marching band before he gave me five dollars toward the marching band scholarship fund. Only good thing about it was the people whom I interacted with a total of about 20 minutes. Worst... Job... Ever....
that job sounds a bit shitj_poley said:I got up at 6am to ground up soil and manure sample every day for a summer during uni once. my snot was black and I had an awesome "tan" which washed off every shower. the samples were from farmers to test the nutrient levels or some shit.
