Almost completing the one man army award on GTA4 and the game glitched and I was hit by a police car which sent me flying straight up into the air into the blades of an annaialator and landing on a train track, I survived all that nad then got ran over by a train.

The easiest way to get that acheivment if it`s the one i`m thinking of (the 6 star survival one?) is to head for liberty island (i think it`s called happiness island) as at most you`ll have 1 chopper and maybe 2 or 3 S.W.A.T after you also there`s a vending machine on the island so stock up on ammo and head there if you haven`t yet got the acheivement

My worst moment was in COD WaW during a hardcore search and destroy match. I took half of the opposing team out and only one was left. He had his back to me and just before I shot him a team mate tossed a smoke grenade, it hit me in the head, and I died. Yay for teamwork.

CoD4 - Game on crossfire, I had 13 kills, 0 deaths and all my kills had been headshots. Then in the last 10 seconds of the game and airstrike hit me through a window and killed me, then I got spawnkilled. Game ended 13/2 K/D but I still wasn't happy.

Definitely in Rugby 08. There was this one match where EVERYTHING went wrong. All my kicks and drop goals hit the posts, my hooker caused me to lose all my scrums, I lost about 50% of rucks even when I 4 players in the ruck and my opponent 1 or 2, my useless hooker (again) gave away all my lineouts, one of my Wings and my Second Row got injured... it was unbearable.

I love that game! Nobody else seems to have it though, I can't wait for the 2011 one.

I didn't know it was coming out! I'll be looking forward to it obsessively. It'll probably be out for one of the current-gen consoles, which means I'll have to play it on the PC. Which means I have to get a gamepad, and I don't want to spend money on that. Cruel world!
I'd love to see more clubs in the new version, they didn't have enough of them in 08.

I can't remember the worst, but I remember the first time I found out that cars in Fallout 3 exploded when shot.

It was that one town...Minefield?
I started getting sniped at, so I took cover behind a car. The car took a few shots, and it started to flame, but I was busy trying to aim (scoped revolver hooray) and once I realized I couldn't see the guy, I noticed the near-exploding car...and moved just in time to catch most of the blast and land right on a mine.

Thats what I didn't get, how does a car cought in a nuclear blast...blow up again?!

Usually in tacics games, they give a precentage of succsesful hits, when I play, if the enemy's have over 20% they'll ALKWAYS hit, If I have less than 80% I'll ALWAYS miss.

So true.

I like when its a 1% chance of hitting me and they still hit...not only do they hit but they critically wound you...

Only starts to raise suspicions when it continues to happen again...and again...and again...

basically any racing game with slingshot/catch-up, I almost always crash near the finish line and get creamed. Worst luck, though, would be on Grid, was racing the full 24-hour Le Mans and crashed at 23:47

My worst luck is completing most of the Dark Brotherhood missions in Oblivion only to have all the guards somehow discover I was behind all their missing person cases and start chasing me wherever I went.

Fallout 3. I was attacked by a group of three Super Mutants, a pair of Giant Radscorpions, a band of Talon Company Mercs, and a Protectron/Robobrain combo while traversing the Wasteland on my way to get to Minefield. Once I finally got there, I had three of my initial 20 Stimpacks left and one clip of ammo for my Scoped Magnum. I walked into the town and started disarming & picking up mines to sell to raise money for Stimpacks. I manag4ed to disarm three when suddenly, BOOM! Headshot, dead, no idea where the shot came from. I reloaded on the other side of the wasteland, went through almost all of those battles again, then re-entered Minefield (saving this time), only to encounter the same result. After a few more tries and discovering that sniper bullets can, in fact, make cars blow up, I decided to go the tactical route and nuke the shit out of everything in sight. After using up all of my Mini-Nukes, I finally spotted Arkansas, but when I went up there to finish him off with The Terrible Shotgun, he somehow knocked me off the top floor of the structure and I fell to my death. I reloaded and Mini-Nuked him, which was satisfying to the point of eroticism.

A long time ago I was playing Super Mario Sunshine and I just beat a really hard boss and I no health left. The shine sprite was in the air and right when I walked under it I bumped into some goop and got killed. Ahhh fuck!

I was at the end of a 5-hour Fallout 3 binge, and accidentally loaded my last manual save instead of saving my current progress. Needless to say that the last manual save was made 5 hours previously.
