Well, it's not that bad, but the guitars or melodies are very bland, nothing special or new, and easy to play.

They ARE kids, man.

My point is, they should wait and practice until they're good, not rise to popularity by a record label when they're not.

And kids can play well, too, that isn't so much of an excuse.

I HATE any and all rap. 'Gangster' rap is the worst of all. It's all just B.S. about selling drugs, mistreating women, and killing cops. If it's not that, it's bragging about something or complaining about something else. I also find rappers to be HUGE hypocrits. You always hear them saying things like, "Peace," or, "Stay in school," and then their 'music' conveys a completely opposing view. I'm not even sure how it became mainstream in the first place. It has almost ZERO redeeming qualities. I see it as talentless noise with overlying bad poetry.

Gang members should be executed on the spot. It's their way of life that spawned that crap, and their very existance drags society down a little more each day they are allowed to survive.

Flames will be promptly ignored. This is my opinion after all.

There are a few exceptions to that stereotype (but you won't be finding any of them on most TV anywhere, not enough 'mass appeal' i.e. I gotz ma bitchez and ma cars and ma 'other generic expensive luxury items that undermine the whole basis of my genre' )

Greydon Square is a good example, though some people (cough.. americans....cough) will be put off by the fact that he raps about atheism. He's sort of post-rap, i.e. he raps about the things in a person encounters in real life and doesn't pander to negative black stereotypes like most artists seem to do these days.

I still probably wouldn't appreciate it, but anything that attempts to seperate itself from the negativity associated with that particular style of 'music' is a step in the right direction. Athiesm is certainly better material that cop killing, selling drugs, etc.

Not citing specific songs, but I generally dislike gangsta rap (worsened by the fanbase) and modern country (ruins many a steak house, to say the least), and crunk has a horrible place in my hell.

On one hand I understand that it's overplayed and overrated (though let's be honest, nothing can live up to that kind of hype), but on the other it's the one good song Led Zeppelin made as far as I'm concerned (the only other band matching them in overratedness, IMO, is Pink Floyd. I don't hate them, but Dark Side of the Moon wasn't the great album everyone says it is. I'm gonna die now, aren't I?).

I mean, a band consisting of 12-14 year olds who're raised to popularity by some record label.

The vocals are off-tune and the drums seem to be quantified (though I saw a video from their gig and the drummer played quite tight, actually).

And if they would have practiced a few years they could have probably even made a decent album, and rise on their own rather than just with a record label.

ENTER SHIKARI!?... super rageeeeee!, well that's your opinion i personally think they are the most orginal band to come out in a very long time. I agree with N-dubz though pure shit though the girl in it should go solo she would have a much better music career that way, she's just wasted protential.

No offense man, but Enter Shikari fucking suck.

All there fans are scene kids who want to be different, but dont want to be different enough to listen to death metal.

I like both album's just as much as each other though take to the skies is a classic album with some truly great songs surely such a band shouldn't be in a topic called Worse music ever am i right?.
