Newerk Airport. That airport is such a mess, I had to go through security 6 times before I could get to the right gate.

I've been to LA twice. Not bad, just underwhelming. The more residential areas are ok, but one day I went to the Boulavard place and it was bad. Everyone there is so loud, there were so many people there were in crappy dollar store Halloween costumes. I will always remember the man I call Los Darth Vados, he was some Mexican dude dressed like darth Vader, but the costume was to small so you could see his neck and pretty much every joint, there were many possible gang tatoos. LA isn't a bad place. But it's not my kind of place.

Worst is this town in BC called Tophino. Now, granted the surfing and fishing a apparently really good. But we didn't know that, we just drove there all across Victoria Island hoping it was atleast ok. It wasn't. Its one of those towns where there's nothing to do, especially for young kids. You can fish and surf. But not every day. There are those days where you just wanna hang out at the old... Abandoned Hospital ? Seriouly, there was a small hospital thief that looked like it had (and probably was) been abandoned for 20+ years. I know we went in with wrong expectations, but still.

One day my family was driving though BC (not the same trip as above, we frequently go to our cousins vacation home in Invermear) and we took a wrong turn and digit realize it, after a which we were confused because a key turn jut wasn't coming up (we had missed it). So we pulled into this small town called Field. There was NOTHING there. It was a group of maybe 20 houses, a gift shop/cafe, and a comically large hotel. That's it. WHAT DO YOU DO THERE ? If it was close to a bigger place or a work site of something it make sence. But the nearest anything was 20-30 minutes away. And there easily could've been something to live in in those places. Why is there is random group of people here ?

Anyone who says London... such a massive cop-out. It's a huge place with as much variety as any other city in the world, if not even more. Don't judge the whole place by the tourist areas. I made that mistake before I ended up living here, now I fully intend to stay. There's some other bad bits but what city doesn't have dodgy neighbourhoods? They're easy enough to avoid - for example there's no reason to go to Tower Hamlets... unless you work at Canary Wharf I suppose, but that's not really the same.

I realise I'm probably talking to northerners who are conditioned to hate 'that London' (because obviously everything north of the M25 consists of genteel villages where everyone's friendly and everything is pristine!) and ignore anything that might suggest it's alright, but there we go.

Anyway: the worst place I've ever been is probably Paris, although I'd like to go again just to confirm my suspicion that it was made a bad weekend by the company I was with and the lack of money to do anything. There was one particular incident which didn't help, but I'm willing to accept that it's not likely to be a regular thing.

Kings Cross, cockroach infested night clubs you have pay to get in with over priced drinks once you do get inside, used syringes and broken glass littering the side walks, not to mention intoxicated groups of people spoiling for trouble and yelling abuse at one another. And no way out except on foot. Good yard stick for measuring some one though, If they say they want to go to The Cross when your in Sydney ditch them.

New Orleans.

The hotel sucked, the entire city smelled, and it was hard to believe that anyone there was not homeless, let alone a decent human being.
I think I am going to have to go with New Orleans as well!!

I went there years ago before Katrina. It seemed I had walked into a giant well use out house in the hot hot sun!! The city is BEAUTIFUL but the unsanitary conditions ruin the whole experience. I can't imagine what it is like post Katrina; but I'm sure the crime rate is higher and the stench is stronger.

If I could pick three places I would add Killeen, Texas and Houston,Texas.
Last time I was in New Orleans, it was just after Katrina, to see if we could scavenge land on the cheap for the "tribe" - before I realized the Casinos ( ahem... mafia ) had the same idea.
What I remember is looking at the "camp" of worker wagons guarded by WAAAAAYYYY too much security - which i was told later was Blackwater's boys...

Too deep for me.

My understanding is, the crime rate is MUCH lower now, after they worked over the local gangs.
Now all the crime is tourist-friendly.

Lancaster County. It wasn't a horrible place, I just had nothing to do the whole time. Which was unfortunate, since I had four people that I knew, but I couldn't visit them.

Patong in Phuket, Thailand. The sleaziest place I have ever been, sex tourist central and every girl is a working girl. If that weren't enough i also managed to get in trouble with the locals during the two days i was there. Dont mess with thai pimps, that's all im saying. :p
What you weren't carrying money and didn't think she was a prostitute? ;)

Blythe, California or Arizona (I don't fucking know). Basically any time I drive to LA or that area, I end up driving past Blythe. It's a shithole in the middle of the desert. I would prefer to die in the surrounding desert than live in Blythe. The town has no redeemable quality. IT IS AWFUL! If you only listen to me once, then heed this warning: never visit Blythe.

Thats a hard question.

The nastiest town I've been too was Katherine in the Northern Territory of Australia. it took me 3 minutes in that town to be offered drugs. Thats a record for me.

The place with the worst people was strangely Berlin, and i love Berlin, but damn you guys are rude. Is it really so hard to stop for a minute and give some directions? Strangely you are very nice when you actually stop to talk for a minute, its just i've never been told to fuck off so many times in my life.

I just remembered something in the news back after it happened about the police confiscating all the legally owned guns, leaving the people of th city as sitting ducks. Is it possible that the crime went with so many of the people to Houston? In which case I would have to amend my worst place visited.

Cairo. My god, what a fucking shithole. It truly is the cesspool of humanity.
I've heard Cairo is pretty at Dawn :x It's really that bad?

I was planning to go motorcycling around the area sometime in the future.
I'm pretty sure the impenetrable layer of smog is ever present and always ugly as fuck. Not to mention the general noise/chaos of 13 million cars constantly in gridlock through the whole area, and the canals that are essential rubbish tips sometimes several miles long.

It's a dirty, dirty place is Cairo. Most of Egypt is the same in fact. Don't get me wrong, the temples, pyramids and other historical sites are wonders to behold, but towns, cities, and roadsides are stuffed full of dead horses/donkeys and general refuse and shit a mile high.

It makes you thankful of a half decent sanitation system.

Wow, all of these previous places seem like a dream vacation compared to KEMMERER, WYOMING. Yeah, you heard me. Fucking Wyoming. Fuck that state. It needs to be turned into one giant garbage dump, a few nuclear power plants, and massive wind farm. Kemmerer, Wyoming is, by all accounts, the worst place anybody could ever find themselves in. I would gladly give up both testicles to never have to go back to that place for more than a second. Goddammit. Fuck you, Wyoming. And fuck all of your shitty towns.
