THE HELL WAS THAT!? DEAR GOD!

The English dub of a japanese tactical RPG. Rumours say the localised production team couldn't find voice-actors, so the lead producer rounded up some family members, due to them all having the same last name as seen in the credit roll. It's just hearsay though, haven't played it, and I most definitly will NOT.
EDIT: Nicole, in this case, is a bad romanisation of the Japanese pronounciation of "Nikolai".

You think a bunch of kids playing around in an ADR studio can challenge the might of the "Die monster" speech or any line spoken by anyone in House of the Dead 2, particularly GOLD MEN's "Life Cycle" speech?

I can't really say I found any voice acting I didn't like.

oh! wait! Toad from the Mario francise, his voice makes my ears burn.

and some of the voices in Megaman 8.

I don't like Sonic the Hedgehog's voice. I wish he'd stayed silent. I've only heard it on Smash Bros Brawl, but when he says "NOW I'LL SHOW YOU!" it really pisses me off.

I am not sure if the actors playing Tidus and Yuna in FFX were ever in the same room when voice acting their dialogue/conversations...

Aside from that, Conan from the Conan game for PS3 (and other platforms), voice acted by Ron Perlman. *shudder* (Just look at him, he is so not a Conan) I mean, if you are going to spew out corny sentences, you may as well go all the way and bring Arnold back. At least he did it with a sense of humour (humour he may or may not have been aware of at the time). Not to mention the halfnaked women in that game sound like porn stars, and even though it can't be a Conan game without naked women, the way they go "Oh, where did my clothes go?" when you save them is a biiit too enthusiastic.

It's actually fairly rare for the actors to all be in the same room during ADR sessions. This can result in hilariously disjointed readings where nobody has any idea how their lines actually fit into the rest of the script and end up emoting more or less randomly. The dub of Transformers Energon being a truly breathtaking example of this principle in action KICKER KICKER OUR PLANETS KICKER

His voice was much better back the days of Sonic Adventure 1, 2, and Sonic Heroes, even if many will say the latter sucks balls (And it does). After Sonic Heroes, the VA for Eggman died so to keep it all even, and to promote the new Sonic the Hedgehog anime by 4Kids (SonicX), they switched the whoel cast to the SonicX crew, resulting in the bullshit that they send into your earholes nowadays.

Knuckles' old voice was beast as Hell...

Theres an RPG called 'Spellforce' for the PC, not sure if it ever came out on anything else. Besides being a piss poor game, it featured the hammiest, crappy voice acting i've EVER heard. It was almost so bad it was good. Almost.

Philip Shahbaz, the guy who did the voice of Altaïr from the first Assassin's Creed.

I mean c'mon! His voice was so boring and flat, not to mention he did an American accent. Yea yea, I know blood memory blah blah, but America wasn't even discovered yet. Also, his name is Altaïr Ibn La-Ahad and he couldn't have given him some sort of Middle Eastern/Arabian accent?

Just a bad voice actor.

A little of topic but, one of the best voice actor's ever is Steven Blum (Spike, TOM, Muugen).

I completely agree with him being awesome, but I think he's a bit overused nowadays.

I mean, they got him to voice Stormtroopers in Star Wars: Empire At War.

Stormtrooper is NOT what I think of when I think of Spike or Vincent Valentine.

Better than Christian 'I need a lozenge' Bale's throaty throatiness. I'll bet you get a ton of hate for insulting a voice actor from the Batman animated series though.

Did I say anything about Christian Bale? I don't like Christian Bale as an actor, he does nothing for me, but I don't like the guy who voices Batman in AA plainly because he doesn't sound right imo.
