Worth fighting for?

I was just thinking about it the other day as I sat bored in a summer class I am taking. I have never been in a fight because I have never felt that anything was important enough, so that got me thinking...what would be? Probably my family...possibly copious amounts of cash. How about you? What would you fight for?

I have only gotten into a fight once. It was late at night and I was walking down the street with a friend to get some drinks. And then we saw this guy who was hitting a women (it later appeared to be his wife). So me and my friend got between them. I ended up getting smacked hard in the face but the adrenaline kept me standing up, I barely moved upon getting hit after which the man backed away. Eventually the cops came and that was that.

So what I fight for? Justice.

I've never been in a fight, but someone messing with my family would definitely provoke me into one. I'd probably fight for my friends too if they looked like they couldn't handle it themselves.

I've never fought anyone before, but I'll take on anyone as long as they hit first. That way, I can destroy them and claim self-defense.

I get into fights because people do not like my viewpoints, such as when I think they smell of day old haddock and they disagree, thus causing a slight disagreement ending in punching(or in the case of stupid chavs them going "you want some" until you shove them and they walk off swearing). So yeah I'll fight for fighting, I like the adrenaline rush and I like the pain.

Fighting is hardly a good reaction to any situation (of course the exception being the people who do it for a living, in which case, more power to you if you can stand getting your shit kicked as a profession). Almost every time I was in a fight, it was because it was the only option I had to not get seriously hurt.

It sucks, because I'm a big guy by nature. It's in the genes. I have a wide frame, a seriously dense bone structure and naturally big muscles to carry the extra weight. Because of this, every dick with a chip on his shoulder has tried his hand at taking me on. I was in half a dozen fights in high school that I never wanted to be in, and a few since then, only one of which was I was actively defending someone other than myself.

I'll fight when I have to, especially when it comes to attempting to help someone I care about, but as the goody goodies say, it's a last resort, when I've exhausted my other options.

Family. My friends are counted as family to me, so them too.

Only time I ever got in a fight was with a neo-nazi in school who threatened to break my neck if I turned off his white power music again (he was playing it in class). I got suspended for it, but all the teachers seemed to like me a lot more after that.

My usual plan if I'm involved in a fight. Try to talk about it. If they throw the first punch or kick, I will do what's necessary.

And, I would fight for: Justice, people's rights, friends, family, and the right thing.

I can imagine starting a fight with someone if they got me mad enough but there is very little they could say that would get me to that point.

I would probably have to be defending someone, or reacting to something really bad that was done to someone, to get into another fight. I can barely get mad anymore, even if I try.

I used to have a terrible temper, that got me into more than enough fights to tide me over for life.

I haven't really been in a fight. I try to avoid it, even though some people think it doesn't seem like it. I would fight for someone's health and well being/life. If it was about someone calling someone names, I wouldn't bother, but if it would be about not being able to live normally, or to live at all, I would fight for them. Unless he is a total dick. Really, I wouldn't help people I concider dicks. Call me selfish if you want, but I'm not risking anything for someone who I highly dislike.

Like Tyler Durden says: "Use Soap" "How much can you know about yourself if you've never been in a fight?"

Being in a fight really isn't anything spectacular. Everything goes quiet, your arms and legs feel stiff, and you feel about 10 lbs. heavier.

I'll fight as long as I'm provoked. If somebody hits me, it's on.

I got into a lot of fights in school. A couple of them were to defend myself from bullies so that I wouldn't seem afraid, two were to defend two friends of mine from bullies.

Weirdly enough, my parents never found out about them. I got written up twice but I managed not to get into worse trouble than that and I wore long sleeves and jeans to hide the marks.

Outside of my school days...I haven't been in a proper fight. But I wouldn't definitely fight to defend myself and I would definitely Battle Royale for money.

The point to remember: Don't start it, but you better damn well finish it.
