Depends on the price, the console, and the game. When I look back at my psp, I only owned like 6 games for it and most weren't that great, but I played Portable Ops online for almost an entire summer. I'd say that much use would warrant the cost of the psp even if it was the only game I bought for it. I'm considering doing the same thing for the new Smash and getting a Wii U, but I'd only do that if the Wii U cost less than $300 and I had easy access to friends to play it with (like roommates). Of course, after Nintendo said they wanted to focus on "hard core games", I think there'll be other exclusives to get for it
If you do, I'd get one used from a local retailer. I wanted a psp 3000 to hack and play GBA games on with good color balance (the 2000 is so white washed) so I bought one for $100 off amazon and the one they sent me was completely filled with dead pixels and the battery was bloated. I sent it back with no intent to try it again. But if you can't get a hold of a good model, you can emulate psp gamestippy2k2 said:The closest I've gotten was Valkyria Chronicles. It was easily one of the best RPGs this generation had but unfortunately, the sequel was a PSP-only game. I haven't caved (yet) but I expect that I will get it eventually...
