Would you consider yourself de-sensitized?

I wouldnt say completely. As of now I cringe if I see a video of a real death. An example would be where I came across a video that showed two guys sawing off another man's head. That stuff really made me sick.

I never really let pictures, images or movies bother me. But even so, I was a little shaken. Then I saw my first Goatse. After that, nothing even caused me to bat an eyelid. Hell, I didn't so much as cringe scrolling down the "Offended?" page on Encyclopedia Dramatica.

Desensitized? Sure. I'm glad, too. It means I'm in control. We're most dangerous, to ourselves and to those around us, when we are scared. It's not always a bad thing.

I think I'm fairly desensitized, however there is a massive different between being desensitized and being a complete sociopath.

If you've heard people dieing on the news everyday, and even had a close friend or family member die, I'd say you'd probably get over similar things quickly.

If however, you are able to watch in entertainment, even laugh at the bloody, shredded corpses of suicide or murder victims, then your environment sucks, OR YOU ARE SICK. ( There is a massive difference between fake gore and real gore)

I'm still terrified by screamer gifs, and if violence is exceptionally bloody like in the Evil Dead movies, I will become very ill. Sex however I've become very difficult to shock anymore with. Violence, most of it does not affect me.

I'd say I'm mostly desensitised but it's really for my own good.

To mindless and mundane violent and sexual things to the point where I don't have that shock reaction? Pretty much. I don't really get offended by anything.

Although when the violence is put in a significant context of some sort, I react to it. If, for example, a great movie really makes me feel emotionally attached to the character, I have a strong emotional reaction whenever that character experiences something. Same goes for, obviously, the real-o-sphere with people I deeply care for.

Definitely not.

I'm still scared to look at goatse again. I'll never be able to look at Encyclopedia Dramatic Offend Page!

To pornography, for the most part, ESPECIALLY hentai.
My male classmate was trying to freak me out by browsing 4chan and showing me various pictures (futanaris, egg laying, tentacles, and so forth) and I just shrugged and kept playing Civ. He called me a "weird girl", which I kind of considered a compliment.

Gore has never had a huge effect on me, though I tend to wince if you start messing about with people's eyeballs, and I would probably still be disturbed by anything in real life. Fake gore though? Totally desensitized. And anything they can put on TV, I've been known to eat breakfast to. I love true crime and descriptions of things rarely bother me anymore.

I'm a vore fetishist so pretty much yeah,
At least to violence and what most would call "disturbing porn" as long as it doesn't concern spiders or needles it doesn't bother me much at all.
However no amount of time will ever desencitize me to human stupidity just when I think I've seen the worst, most bigoted, hateful, racist, idiotic, backwards ass way of thinking, moronic, sexist short sighted, narrow minded thing humanity has to offer bang!
I see something that blows the last one clear out of the water, sometimes on the same page.
