This is how it more is from what I can discern of Jedi shit from the movies:

Dark Side: All emotion- love/have, joy/sorrow

Light Side- Complete suppression of emotion

My Answer
===============================

Dark Side
This was my thought as well. Those Light-siders are so DULL! Give me the Dark Side of the Force over that goody-goody shit.
And furthermore, give me love over an emotional void

...or something of the sort. If there's some way to turn this creed to the Light, I'll go for it.
KotOR fan?
Wikipedia.

I just remember talking with some guy online who follows that real religion based on the Jedi, him mentioning the dispassion/emotion dichotomy, and me wondering "why is that necessarily evil?"

In games usually I play light side...I have a hard time making many of the evil decisions.

In reality I would probably be considered dark side because I would make decisions based on my emotions, get angry, kill people I think deserve to be killed and basically act like a normal human being.

If the force warped me because of those decisions then I guess I would eventually become evil, but unless my base personality was changed I'm pretty much a good guy who would use the force to defend others but not hold back when someone angers me.

In a real fight I use my emotions, anger is a very powerful tool even without the force. So I guess that is the best reason for me saying Dark side....I already use anger as a tool in battle.

It's kind of hard to to separate into either good and evil, as human beings are inherently complicated creatures. Regardless, I think I would say I'm closer to the light side than dark. The only thing I really need to worry about is greed. I get greedy a lot.

Hmmmm, I'd probably be a Dark Jedi. Probably try being a Jedi, but end up succumbing to the darker side of the force. I'm pretty fickle though.

Say the Force became a reality and people started to discover how to use it and Jedi like religions started to pop up all over the place etc.

Now say you where one of those people who could use the force.

Judging by your personality would you be likely to fall to the Dark side or stay on the light side.....or would you just join the Dark side anyway?

Dark side ? Anger, Fear, Greed, Selfishness, Passion, etc.
Light side ? well basically control over those emotions + your a good person etc.

Honestly I think id start light and then after a short time id Fall to the temptation of Cookies.
I already have all the Cookies. I used the Dark Force to get them. Muwahahahaha.

It's the dark side creed that I learned from KotOR. I would have to have no emotion. Passion is what drives me.

Grey Side.

The Light Side is too stuffy with it's doctrine, plus the power set is mostly boring or useless. Dark Siders have much better powers, and while they have a much better code, their ultimate goals are too destructive.

You don't need the Force to fall to the dark side.
As for me, I'd go for the Grey side.
True, but you are more Susceptible if your a Force user.
No more so then any other form of power. "Absolute power corrupts absolutely"

I'd probably try being a good Jedi (and might even pull it off for a while), but at the end of the day I'm a very emotional and angry person inside, and combined with the powers of the Force and given a certain set of circumstances, I'd probably fall to the Dark Side in the end.

Weird. Re-reading this I've pretty much unintentionally summed up Anakin's life without realizing it.

M'kay, but this is Star Wars. The Force is absolute power--as Darth Vader famously said, even the ability to destroy a planet is insignificant next to it.

Ergo, Force users would be far, far more likely to be corrupted than someone with less power; even going by your logic they are still more susceptible.

As for the Light Side being some sort of an emotional void, I say that's bull-hockey. Isn't the point of it to empathize with everything and transcend your own self, whereas the Dark Side advocates for a continual process of emotional satisfaction? Which, in the Star Wars universe, is sort of like a drug--the more you have, the more its effects are dulled until eventually to get the amount you need, crazy shit is required.

So I'll go Grey.
