Ive seen and heard a lot about Cataclysm, can someone please tell me why I am still unphased to reinstall WoW? OK, Cataclysm looks appealing to me however, when the previous expansions came out I was totally psyched for all of them, and for some reason its not the case here, Its not an "cause I have an option thing"

Because you are a human being and can have opinions different from others, even if the "others" may be a majority.

Yeah, well that's what I thought before Wrath came out. I guess we'll just have to see.

I am greatly underwhelmed by this Cataclysm nonsense. Maybe if there was more meat in the expansion, I'd be a bit more interested. Two races? Feh. The Horde doesn't even get a decent race. I would have appreciated Naga or something. It looks like a case of "The alliance have a tiny people race, so now do the Horde".

Destroying the world seems a bit gimmicky. Maybe if they had just added more stuff, and changed the environment in accordance with the time that lapsed since initial release. Bigger cities and towns, add some outposts or something. Hell, even start rebuilding the ruined Silvermoon City.

Though, opening up Azeroth to flight is something I was looking forward to, it's still not enough to get me back to WoW.

This actually sounds like it is the answer to my original question, makes sense, thanks.

Trolls are clearly awesomecakes.
Trolls have been around since the beginning.
Re-reading what the guy said, I realise I have made an entire fool of myself. I'll just shuffle off now

*sheepish grin*

Because after two expansions you know what will happen. You will make a new race, or continue with an old character. Reach the max level, grind for the best items for a short while before ultimately growing bored and tired of the game, once again.

No matter how many expansions they bring out, WoW will always be the same.

Horde doesn't even need a new race, as they have the best 4 races in the game. Not even belfs can reduce the hordes awesomeness.

Indeed. I've got three Trolls that I'm very proud of. Goblins 100% do not motivate me to reroll. Maybe if there was a Goblin-specific class, then I might be tempted.

Think of it this way....

Cataclysm is basically WoW 2.0, with every zone being revamped.

Also, allowing flight in Azeroth means that those areas you have to glitch or cheat into? (Besides Old Ironforge), yeah, those are fully open now.

It's just going to be great. o-o

Here's somthing that might not make sence to you:

A cave is fun to explore, but there's always the chance of a cave-in,injury,and other things but you go on untill you reach the end, or one on those thing happen then you find your way out, usually, and come back some other time, weather you only explore a little or take a entirely new path.

Laymans terms speedy... er I mean, its fun but you beat it or you get bored but come back L8r...
explaning simple things in long (sometimes inunderstable)ways!

Yeah. Exaclty WoW 2.0.
I liked WoW 1.0 more. As in pre-TBC. Where it wasn't just idling in your faction city and pressing a button to automatically find you group for instances. Where you didn't got epics just from running same, 20 minute instances all day long. For all the talk about building community we heard lately from Blizzard, they actually butchered it with limiting the need for interaction over last patches.

As to why some may not be as hyped anymore. How long is it now? 6 years since WoW release ? Add time in closed and open betas and you have the answer - burnout. Last raid instance i enjoyed in WoW was Sunwell, after really crappy and boring Hyjal in Caverns of Time.

And flying mounts killed the art of world pvp. Some of us picked pvp ruleset servers to actually be able to interact with horde, not just pass eachothers in flight.
