On topic: What an idiot. How far can you push the ridiculous 'internet tough guy' image before everyone realized you're some dumbass living with your parents? This guy needs to be locked up. Not only for utter threats, but for the safety over every other person around him. You can't be that stupid and not hurt someone.

No goddamn way this is real, no way someone can be that idiotic. Who actually reveals their evil plans before they commit them, I mean c'mon!

This seems to happen more often than we think. Now, I have no links to back this up, I just remember reading it in an article about a year ago. But two teenagers once posted their intention to shoot up their high school on a chat forum, even claiming they had written a list of those they would kill. Luckily for their schoolmates, they happened to use their real names on the forum, and some person or other recognised them and called the police.

Now that's either not thinking it through, or taking an attention-seeking joke way too far. Either way... how thick can you get? It really gives you hope for the human race.

I mean, the way I'm getting it is that this was some idiot with a big mouth, not a terrorist. I blame WOW myself, and most of that multi-online stuff, it's a breeding ground for the evil, insane and deluded.

Funny, because I've seen plenty of posts on The Escapist proposing mass killings, torture, eugenics and etc. That makes it a-okay to condemn the whole Escapist forums as a 'breeding ground for the evil, insane and deluded' correct? WoW is just about as cosmopolitan as everywhere else online, so of course there's going to be a lot of assholes in the mix!

That may well be the case, but considering they have his repeated claims of his plans, it's better to make sure he's not serious than to assume he's not and risk be wrong.
