Oddly enough, only the second stupidest/funniest thing I've heard in game. GM once said that Blizz cared about the gamers... heh.
Oh please. Jaded fanboy, eh?

On topic: What an idiot. How far can you push the ridiculous 'internet tough guy' image before everyone realized you're some dumbass living with your parents? This guy needs to be locked up. Not only for utter threats, but for the safety over every other person around him. You can't be that stupid and not hurt someone.

No goddamn way this is real, no way someone can be that idiotic. Who actually reveals their evil plans before they commit them, I mean c'mon!
This seems to happen more often than we think. Now, I have no links to back this up, I just remember reading it in an article about a year ago. But two teenagers once posted their intention to shoot up their high school on a chat forum, even claiming they had written a list of those they would kill. Luckily for their schoolmates, they happened to use their real names on the forum, and some person or other recognised them and called the police.

Now that's either not thinking it through, or taking an attention-seeking joke way too far. Either way... how thick can you get? It really gives you hope for the human race.

I've only been playing this game for a few months, and I have witnessed what I thought to be unrivalled idiocy... but this takes the cake. xD

Besides the fact he's an idiot, seizing his computer was probally a bit of an overstep. I mean, how many terrorists play WoW? And how many tell people they're actually going to blow up a plane?

The answer would be none. (I hope.)

Umm...not to be one wondering what all the fuzz is about, but, isn't this the equivalent of shouting bomb in a crowded airport? I mean, the way I'm getting it is that this was some idiot with a big mouth, not a terrorist. Not that he didn't get what was coming to him, but still, was this someone who was -seriously- planning something, or just a guy shooting his mouth off?

I blame WOW myself, and most of that multi-online stuff, it's a breeding ground for the evil, insane and deluded.
Funny, because I've seen plenty of posts on The Escapist proposing mass killings, torture, eugenics and etc. That makes it a-okay to condemn the whole Escapist forums as a 'breeding ground for the evil, insane and deluded' correct? WoW is just about as cosmopolitan as everywhere else online, so of course there's going to be a lot of assholes in the mix!

This just made my day...already.

I'm amused, yet singularly stunned by the colossal implications of such...what's the word...stupidity.

Doesn't seem that he is a member of any terrorist groups, but idiots can still do some pretty dangerous things to emulate them so you never know eh?

An idiot like that shouldn't be allowed a computer so good on them for taking it away.

Wow; I bet he sucks at games as much as he does life. Prime example that there is no "Ctrl+Z" in real life.

This is about the same level of intelligence of your average supervillain.

"AHA! ! We meet at last! But unfortunately, you're too late! My plan is just about to be set in motion. Before I kill you, , I must reveal my secret plan to you! You see..." *goes on for 35 minutes at which point has freed himself and is about to give said supervillain a proper kick in the butt*

Also, hey what the hell, I have a blood elf death knight too!

That may well be the case, but considering they have his repeated claims of his plans, it's better to make sure he's not serious than to assume he's not and risk be wrong.

If there was such a thing as stupid incarnate, we have found it. Seriously, announcing terrorism in today's world is like the equivalent of saying, "Here I am, I'm Adolf Hitler" back in WW2.

What's he going to do, smuggle a knife onto the plane in his neckbeard? Zerg the plane with an axe, yelling "Leeeroooooooooooy...." before getting promptly shot by a flight marshal or airport security, dying as he murmurs "At least... I have chicken..."?

I wonder if the guy meant to say he was hijacking a Zeppelin to Chicago at 7:30.

But seriously, I wonder if he fell down a stairs too many times one day...
