Roses are Red
Violets are in fact, Violet

The end.

Actually, I don't have OCD. I have CDO. It's like OCD but all the letters are in alphabetical order, as they should be.
The awsome think about OCD is that if you turn your head 90 degrees anticlockwise (left ear to shoulder) it looks like a stick man washing his hands...!

You, sir, win this poetry competition. I know that wasn't a poem, but a stick figure washing his hands... ingenious.

Roses are red, violets are blue, OP is a fag, and so are you.
No, I'm not insulting OP here, that's just the first poem that came to mind, take a guess what site it's for.
Phew, for a minute there I thought you were taking about Optimus Prime... (For the record: I always read OP as Optimus Prime... And because it happened the first time I saw it, I now cannot see it any other way! :p)

There was once a man from peru.
He dreamed he was eating his shoe
He woke up in the night
With a bit of a fright
To find that his dream had come true.

(Cookie if you know where that comes from)
Spongebob, now HAND IT OVER!!!

Once i went to an anime con, they had waltz practice there

I was so slick i thought i would pick of all of the beauties there.

one was only 15 one was a guy and the third was very rude.

I tell you with certainty that i'm straight but my favorite was the dude.

That was beautiful.

OT: I wrote this in year six or something.

There once was a boy called Tom,
Who set off a nuclear bomb,
He flew through the air,
And fell in despair,
Now there's no boy called Tom.
dealing with caffine addiction was my true inspiration for that peice....

kidding, anyway

I hope that didnt earn you a trip to the school psych

I created a new form of poem during my poetry class. It's called a Manku. It's very simple, and awesome. Like men. Manly men. I'll give you an example.

Guns,
Fire,
Guns Fire,
Guns.

Alternatively,

I'm
Awesome
I'm Awesome
I'm.

I think you all can figure out the pattern.

I ran out of eggs
So I went to the store
Bought some more eggs

Welcome, nice that you're second post was a poem :)
Sucks thou that your first post had a rickroll in it xD
I admit, I was lying, you see,
A poet I was trying to be,
But in my very first post,
(If you don't mind the boast),
The thread had an "arrow to the knee"!

Now please don't feel sad,
You'll make me feel bad,
If you die, or are gone,
I'll feel oh-so-forlorn,
Because there'll be no one here to quote me!

Roses are red
Violets are blue
I have a gun
Get in my van.

Works every time *Finger pointing action*

A shivering wind,
A skeletal grin,
A prickly pin,
And elven kin.
These words grow faint
With a vintage taint;
Old concepts now quaint
Like an old coat of paint.

The purpose of this is to emphasize how some terms are way overused.

I have a friend named Rick
He is shaped like a big fat stick
If you are a lady, will you please lick
Make him excited he'll show you a trick
I know it helps him if you use some spit
just nothing gross, that will make him sick
Cuz Rick is important to me, cuz Rick is my Dick

That's a beautiful metaphor for self discovery of gender identity and sexuality. You are very brave to post that here.

This is interesting as I usually make a beginning of a poem in my head, but don't finish it or ever come back to it, so I shall actually complete one this time (although I am tired out of my mind so I wouldn't expect anything special)

Friends are there through thick and thin,
Never hesitating and always fair.
They never thrown you in the bin,
Only hold you with great care.
You are never alone so long as there is one,
Even if they are not around.
A friend can always help even if you run,
They will follow you no matter the bound.
A true friend is many things,
But one doesn't leave
Reguardles of what life brings.
They pull you on your feet with a loving heave.
