The more i ask and do research on these 'netbooks', the more i want one.
It will be so good to simply go wherever i want, whenever i want, and just write...
That 'Write or Die' website seems...interesting. Thanks for that!
I've written two novel-sized FF8 fanfics (on Fanfiction.net) and I'm working on the conclusion. When i say 'working' i mean 'procrastinating'. I've gotten the majority of the story down in my notepad, but it involves time travel, two interconnecting story-lines, multi-verses and a climactic battle between two invincible opponents that tear the planet apart...maybe ;-3
It was this series that i truly cut my teeth on writing. I can actually see how I've progressed as a writer as i read each story. Suffice to say, once i finish this final story, my confidence will be cemented, and i can start working on original stories.
I've also got several original projects in the afterburner, one zombie-apocalypse, one Uncharted meets Heroes, and one Assassin story about the birth of an Assassin and the progression of his life. I also have a dark superhero story which will ask the question of what would happen to an ordinary man if he got the Big Three Powers - Strength, Flight and Invulnerability - but told from a 'real world' perspective.
