WTF Gaming Plot Points (Spoiler Alert)

What games have you played where certain plot points or twists have made you think or say "What the fuck that made no sense"?

My Top ten in no Particular order:

Halo 2-Where's the rest of the game?
Final Fantasy VIII-We all grew up together how nice
KOTOR-I'm the bad guy? Okee dokee
Star Ocean: Till the end of time-It's The Matrix!
Legend of Zelda: Twilight Princess-Ganondorf again

Eternal Sonata-Pretty Much Everything
KOTOR 2-The sweet old lady is evil?

I'm playing KOTOR now (I knew the spoiler before now), and so far I can only vaguely see how I'm the bad guy. My circumstances for being where I was at the beginning are pretty vague, but other than that there's no big evidence I can see. What I mean is that I don't think someone with no outside knowledge could know that plot point where I am in the story. Maybe it's well-explained, but I dunno.

That's about it. I play RPG's for the most part so when I shove in an fps it is to escape from story and just go mental with hot lead.

As someone who plays mostly RPGs, I would expect that you would appreciate a little story in an FPS instead of must mindless PeW PeW!

OT: Biggest one for me, a certain ancient being impaled by an over sized katana. I was about 14 and never experienced sadness from anything in a game/movie/book until there. I tend to relate more to games/anime than movies/books/tv. Real people are dumb. LOL

Specter's supposed to be a super GENIUS monkey, yet he doesn't see a problem in cutting the world in half?

I personally thought that it was one of the most skillfully implemented plot twists I've ever seen in a game. There's plenty of foreshadowing if you look back closely enough (some of the things the council says, the fact that you are able to master Jedi training so quickly, among other things), and yet it still surprised me when the big reveal was pulled.

Actually, reflecting on it, you're right. The visions of Bastila attacking Revan, knowing where the star maps were, yeah. It is well done.
