Messed up stuff always happens. And alot of normal and kind acts also happen. But these aren't as newsworthy or as fanciful so they don't get reported.
If you work as a cop, the world is a frigtening place. If you work as a fashion photographer, the world is beatiful. It's just your onlook, that's all.
I actually AM a photographer, and the world still sucks. Models might be beautiful on the outside but I've met a lot of them that are really ugly on the inside.
I used a poor example then.
But if you surround yourself with bad news and constantly read it, you'll feel down. Whereas if you stick to reading positive news, and other material you'll have a much sunnier outlook
on the world.
I understand your point, but shielding yourself from the bad stuff doesn't exactly stop it from happening. Would you agree that the world could be in such bad shape
because of that kind of thing? Unfortunately the only "Good News" we seem to get are these pathetic, "human interest" puff pieces to distract us from what's really going on. Its nothing new.
I'm not ripping on you, I like your attitude, I just think that if more people were to face the crap that we do to each other rather than ignore it and hope it goes away, maybe collectively we can DO something about it so there won't BE any more bad news...
Jeez, I still sound like a defeatest jerk. Any chance you could email me some of that positive attitude of yours? I seem to be all out today
