May I ask what the synopsis to this RP is? I know we are in a team but what is the situation? Are we on Utopia (comic) or under threat by the sentinel etc? Is the speedball special referring to Colossus throwing ability?
Other than that I'm interested.
Ok, so like I said earlier, we're staying away from the mainstream as possible. We're still centred at Prof-X's school, Magneto is still a bad guy (but I'll make up some villains for us for the most part). We'll be staying away from the original X-Men for the most part, except for passing mentions. We are a team put together of newly found mutants from various backgrounds. We are a unique team, allowing Mutates along with Mutants. Our team's mission is to protect the school from all threats, whether immediate or not. This includes fighting rogue mutants, recruiting mutants, and defending the school.

Diablo, Scarim and Mind, your sheets are all accepted. Mind, if you could message me with more specifics about your power that would be appreciated. It sounds great, but I'd just like to know a little more about it.
Diablo, if you want to discover one of the "hidden weapons" mentioned in your sheet, please message me first. Again, a great idea, but I just want to make sure you're not to powerful.

I will be closing off applications on Friday. That is all.

IronRuler, that little bit of extra information makes your character sheet fine. I didn't quite understand what you meant. Thanks.

Name: Eli Rook

Nationality: N/A

Alias: Scribe

Race: Mutant
Age: 16

Height/Weight: He is about 5?9 and 125 lb.

Powers: He has a way with words. By that I mean he can use words like weapons and tools. If he yells ?Shock? at you, will feel like you have been zapped by electricity and if he were to write down ?Die? and make you look at it, you would kill yourself as fast as possible.

Talents: He is very smart for his age, and he was once described as ??[having] the brain power and thought capacity of a 60 year old man.? by someone he refuses to talk about. And he reads a lot so he has a large vocabulary.

Weakness: His powers are only sure-fire when he writes down the thing and shows it to you, which is usually not as available of an option as he would like. When he uses his voice to make his powers work, he can only do less complicated things like ?shock?. Also, his vocal powers rely on may factors, such as the volume of his voice, the strength of will behind it, and possibly most importantly, what he means. If he says ??shock? but he isn?t thinking clearly, he may just cause the target to be surprised, or if he says ?stop? they may only pause for a moment, or only stop doing a certain thing (provided they are doing more than one thing at a time, like running while shooting). This area of weakness is also affected by the previously mentioned factors (volume etc.).

Weapons: Eli keeps a small mechanical pencil handy at all times and a few pieces of paper. (might also count as equipment)

Equipment: the paper and pencil.

Appearance: Eli is Caucasian and sort of pale with a slender build, despite all the junk food he eats. He keeps his dark brown hair cut into basically a buzz cut, has green eyes and lanky limbs. He doesn?t have any facial hair (despite his opinion that he could make a thin beard or a goatee look good). In general he isn?t particularly handsome (though if h=you ask him, he can look pretty sweet at times) but he isn?t ugly, just kind of average.

Clothing: His preferred outfit is blue-genes, sneakers, some kind of T-shirt, and depending on the weather, his green wool coat that he likes to call a ?Silent Bob coat? (look it up) due to it looking similar to said coat. He is also very fond of his black hat, which is kind of like a smaller, more casual version of a fedora (which he doesn?t know the name for but doesn?t think it is a trilby). When he is in the right mood, he has a soft spot in his heart for ?snazzy? type clothes. Things like a black suit and pants with a grey shirt and red tie, you know, gangster type stuff (Al Capone ?Gangster?, not 50 Cent ?Gangstuh?).

Costume: He thinks big flashy outfits like the Fantastic 4?s leotards are pointless and would rather just wear comfortable effective clothes.

General Bio: Eli was born on a ?private? vessel in international waters from the womb of a mutant mother who was a volunteer for the Weapon-X project, made pregnant by artificial insemination, supplied by a male mutant within the project. The mother was released with a stack of Benjamins and she turned her son over to the scientists. They then turned Eli over to a foster family in New Orleans where he was monitored until the age of six. The people at Weapon-X had learned much about the development process of mutant powers and were ready to ?collect their specimen?, until their plans went very wrong. They ment to get him in his sleep, then drug him so he couldn?t focus his power when he woke up, but as the agents snuck upstairs to his room, he heard a voice in his dream telling him to wake up. He was getting out of bed when the men came into his room, and he isn?t quite sure what happened next, but by the time he was leaving through the backdoor one of the men had run away, the second had been shot in the head, and the third was found unconscious with the murder weapon in hand. Since then Eli has travelled the country a lot, mixing in with the mutant underground, before he was lead to Prof. X's school by a voice in his head.

All good. As long as there is a limit to the voice powers, that's fine. If anyone seems to powerful, I'll just let you know and we'll fix it up.

I'm sorry to ask so late in the proceedings, but is there by any chance one more open spot? I just thought I might ask.

so sorry to double post, but I forgot to quote you earlier. Would you mind reading my above query?
