Not part of MCU, not on Netflix, not animated. Thus I don't care. Disney should just make an X-Men cartoon to go with their other Marvel cartoons. Wolverine has already been featured in...all of them.
Would be surprised if that happened, since most of their cartoons have been at least tangentially related to the movies.
Based off or inspired by, sure, but not beholden to the same issues the movies have, since various mutants/X-Men and the Fantastic Four have appeared in the shows.
Right, thus tangentially. Basically the cartoons boost a kids interest in the movies and vice versa. That makes it unlikely that they would do a cartoon featuring characters from a movie franchise they don't own.

I really hate when "money" is used as an argument. I said should. Disney should make an X-Men cartoon. And X-Men and Fantastic Four should go to MCU.

Would is another story.
Damn, that would be a pile up. Taking the two largest, most congested super hero movie universe and cramming them them together, plus the Fantastic Four. The movie run times would make Dawn of Justice seem like a youtube short.

While it may open up some interesting villain choices, it would be an absolute mess on the hero side.

Well, Id have to think if X-Men went back to Marvel proper, they'd have to reboot X-Men and mutants in, rather than try to connect the film franchises, especially after X-men Apocalypse.
It's still a crowded scene. Though I'm wondering if you just want 'MCU quality' applied to the X-Men universe, and don't really want/care for an entire mash up.

I suppose the X-Men could work as a concurrent but not interacting team, like the GotG, but I would think it would be hard to start justifying why the Avengers and the X-Men aren't working together.

Nope. I want the mess. MCU is my main Marvel since the comics have hit the shitter. And who said not working together? I want Wolverine and Beast in the Avengers. Hell, I want Marvel: Ultimate Alliance: The movie.
You're that kid who put pennies on the rail road tracks because someone told you in school it would derail the train, aren't you?
Don't know if that's supposed to sound insulting, but it does.

Was just poking a little fun and making a little joke.

I apologize. Didn't mean to really offend.

Well, you don't seem the mean type, so I wanted to make sure before I actually got mad.

A lot of people don't like how big and complex and full of characters MCU is becoming, but I do like it. MCU is different from basically all other movies. Nothing else has gotten so big in movies. Saw has how many movies? MCU has how many more?

I like seeing all these characters in this world Ive loved for so long to unfold so well in front of me, and I only want it to get bigger. Hell, I want the MCU to go on atleast until I die. Sure I get critical of things, but the airport fight in Civil War is everything I could ever have wanted and more, and well...now I want more.

But, I make a solemn pledge - I will watch all of it, if they make this the shows theme music.

Aw jeez, now I'll have that tune in my head for the rest of the week. Thanks for that, you cruel bastard.

But yes, you're right. They could make the show twenty 50-minute episodes of naked Donald Trump shaving his ass and that theme song would still make me watch it all.

I wonder how this will impact either the MCU or Fox's XMen movies. Will it be the Xavier and the main crew, less known mutants or new characters? Weren't Fox trying to trade FF movie rights for XMen TV rights?

I don't know....hasn't every possible XMen story already been told by the animated shows or movies?

-Slams on Table Rhythmically- Gam-bit Gam-bit Gam-bit!

This sounds interesting. Daredevil was cool, Jessica Jones was alright, and Punisher looks interesting. I could get on board with this. But if I had creative control, I would turn up the 90's to RADICAL levels. Not necessarily for nostalgia, but it would be interesting to be like a "modern period" piece. Accept the weird and wonderful original tv series and make it serious through the writing. Not just by supermodernizing it all. I have already had 15 years of Weird Leather and Black Plate costumes. I want the good ones.
