I think you need to watch Yahtzee's console rundown review again because it explains why it indirectly explains why a PS3 would be the hardest to use (i.e. production times, millions of dollars, etc etc).Easton Dark said:That's what I was getting at. OT: Sounds reasonable. Seems like PS3 would be just as easy to use though :l
Yes i just meant its not as big a deal like it would be for BF3 for example, also we didnt see any 360 to PC comparisons of graphics yet so im not going up in panic about it.dillinger88 said:I agree, the moddability of PC versions of games is amazing, but it shouldn't really come down to modders to really take advantage of PC hardware. The developers should be trying harder, in my opinion. The more this is accepted, the more they're likely to just do a sloppy port and go "the modders'll fix it."adamtm said:as long as there will be mods on PC i cant say i care.
Theres a fanmod for HD textures in Fallout3, improves graphics dramatically.
As long as the game is open to modding the technical fidelity is secondary, it can be fixed by the community.
The scary thing is that companies like EA are starting to restrict mods from their games, namely BF3. I hope this isn't the future of PC gaming .
That's developing the game, which they've already done. Not just plugging in a PS3 and putting in the disc, which is what I wanted. It's just as easy as the Xbox and more relevant to my interests.Coldster said:I think you need to watch Yahtzee's console rundown review again because it explains why it indirectly explains why a PS3 would be the hardest to use (i.e. production times, millions of dollars, etc etc).
Isn't that what they have been doing?teebeeohh said:did bethesda just wrap their juicy red lips around the almighty MS-money-dick?
Wouldnt they need to install it on the PS3? The Xbox can run the game without any extra care.Easton Dark said:That's what I was getting at. Were they? Could have sworn they were using a PC.666Chaos said:Except at E3 DICE was showing off the console version of battlield 3 and not the PC version so your comment doesnt really make any sense.Easton Dark said:So taking that into consideration, does DICE enjoy taunting console gamers?

I don't know. Their track record would suggest yes, but maybe not. Even so, it's not like they just rush the systems and games out onto the floor. I'm pretty sure they could give it 10 minutes to install.josemlopes said:Wouldnt they need to install it on the PS3? The Xbox can run the game without any extra care.
I dont know this for sure, thats why I am asking.
Well with Bethesda you don't have to worry to much about that. Only which version is going to get short shafted in terms of DLC.Jonesy911 said:I hate having a ps3 and a 360, now I'm always scared the version of the game I'm getting will be the poorly optimized one
