Does anyone remember the game XII?
It was a cel shaded fps that nowadays seems to float around bargain bins everywhere.
My questions is, who apart from me enjoyed it?

*edit i spelled float wrong sorry :)

I have it on gamecube, I must say I wasn't impressed by it, the concept sounded awesome!, but the execution for me felt lacking.

I'll give it another go.

For me... Best Action/stealth game I've ever played, but that's proboably because I normaly don't like them.

It was good to pass the time. I wouldn't pay full price for it, but it's got some charm and fun to it. I do like cel-shaded stuff, too. This game did it very well, I thought. It was just too clunky for my standards. :p

I liked it and would reccomend it to quite a few people but I did feel that it was somewhat dragged out at times, besides that I have nothing but fond memories of it (killing the KKK members in the castle was nothing short of hilarious).

I bought it for the PS2 and rebought it for the GameCube because the controller suited it so much better.

I played it through with a friend doing a level each. We ripped through it and both enjoyed it. The Throwing Knives were awesome.
Two player was crap and slow.

I don't think it's worth owning twice, like me, but it was pretty good.

You know I bought this in a bargain bin because I saw the cel shading and decided to give it a whirl. I'll have to switch it to the top of the pile.

I bought it at EB for $25 Pre-owned. I loved it, until it decided to freeze at a certain point and never go past. I never played it again.

I enjoyed it, it was a really good game. The comic strip bits really added to the aesthetic. Voice acting on the main character was appaulling though, nice one Duchovny!

I thought that some sections were a bit unbalanced. The maps weren't very large but the game overall was sufficient. I really like the variation of the landscapes. It had some pretty dark stuff in it too.

I really didn't guess who was number I until the end. I mean at points I had a hunch but wasn't sure enough and thought it might be someone else.

It's an FPS with characters and a story, hence it didn't sell very well.

Now if they'd had thrown some aliens and marines at it - Ka-ching!

XIII was the game that got me into FPS'. When you get the stealth kills and it shows the close up in the comic book squares was just so satisfying.

A few of my friends tried to convince me to buy it, but they all seemed to hate actually playing it. I wondered why I'd do that to myself.

i just played it a month ago. it's fairly entertaining, but the biggest flaw are the boss fights; they're all basically the same guy only they hack more as the game progresses. i eventually quit on the last boss because it's an incredibly long, mobile fight on a platform without rails and i got tired of falling to my death every goddamn time.

I still reckon XIII is the most underrated game of last generation. I got it brand new for about £8 on the XBox and I absolutely love it! I'll have to run it through my 360 sometime...
