Yay! Men rule the video gaming world! Both pictures are ugly and breasts don't do anything for me, except force me to buy a bra for job interviews, but kudos to both companies willing to dive into Yahtzee's sick and twisted mind in a good natured way. And also, to prove if you give anything big breasts and a tight shirt, men salivate and become mindless putty. Glad us women are still in control.

(removes bra without taking shirt off) Now, where's my drink, my big stud!

Yahtzee's right. They are sick, sick fucks. The article was funny though.

Oh Yahtzee, make more challenges like this one in the future if you can't decide which game is better.

The problem here is though that the bar has been set.

Is this going to become a regular thing?
Will this be regular occurrence in ZP. I don't think so there aren't that many games that share the same level of rivalry as inFamous and Prototype. So I dough Yahtzee will hold such a competition again.
in all three cases the better one is obvious from space (God of War III, Gran Turismo 5 and Heavy Rain, duh)
I meant rivalries where there was no clear winner, not just games where there were similarities.

On the one hand you actually got these two studios to bow down to you and actually did something you wanted them to do, on the other hand..WTF you sicko? This is actually worse than something you see on Rule 34 jesus christ man!

I surprised they not only actually made the pictures but that they actually watched your review and took it seriously. 'Oh not that guy with a hat reviewed us and couldn't decided if we were better than that other game, lets pander to his desire to get a non existent prize.' Seriously I doubt Zero Punctuation actually helps or hinders anyone's games sales, other than a few people who were curious, like I bought Saints Row, because he said it was so much better than GTA, and it was but never mind. Zero Punctuation to me has always been a humorous little someone showing one mans opinions regarding the games he plays and it certainly gets this site more traffic, but I've never considered them to be serious review that would actually mean anything. He's like the AVGN or TGWTG, entertainers who enjoy ragging on something or other but who's opinions don't really affect the industry in which they review.

That is one of the most awesome things I have ever seen. Not the pictures themselves, just that they actually did it.

Yahtzee, you have a helluva lot more influence in the gaming world than I previously thought possible; first Valve, now this...
wait what do you mean "first valve?"
To give an answer to the both of you, when Yahtzee gave his overwhelmingly positive review of Valve's Painkiller, sales of that game tripled. And now the game developers are sending him pictures of their rival's character in women's clothing...
What will happen next?
Yahtzee will probably demand for a current-gen remake of Fantasy World Dizzy...or at least have it put Xbox Live Arcade.

My hat goes off to both companies for participating.
Sucker Punch has a link to it on their front page but on Radical's site it's nowhere to be found. Talk about sore losers. *laughs*

So, is anyone else impressed, that Yahtzee has so much power that he can jokingly mention something and the companies he talks about will go out and do it? I thought he had a lot of power when Painkiller sales shot up, but, jeez, this is just... impressive.

To correct your answer, Painkiller was developed by People Can Fly, no relation to Valve. Yahtzee's review did triple their sales thoughts.

The Valve "incident" was a different one, a long time ago (2 years ago or so), when, after Yahtzee's review of the Orange Box, back when Ben was already known but not nearly the influential behemoth he is today, Valve decided to fly him to their headquarters on their own money to meet him themselves. There was no video that week, just a "travel journal", so to speak, where Yahtzee detailed his trip around Valve HQ.
