Yay for dead people in Heroes! Perhaps the series can actually move forward now rather than falling into the rut that comic books do...except for a certain flash...aw crap, people are going to come back again, aren't they? -_-.

Thanks for the spoilers[/sarcasm]Some of us don't have regular access to even network television, or at least shows that air at the same time as the rest of the states.

That show is getting way too confusing. I still love it, but it seems
Arthur had made plans 16 years in advance or there's a huge plothole. And what the hell does Sylar think he's doing? He's acting like he's going through Power Puberty.

He didn't actually say who died. And come on, if everyone lives in a show, what good is that?

Maybe you should look at some of the older sitcoms, back before color. They're classy, and nobody dies.

Those were sitcoms. Heroes is not a sitcom. If your looking for something feel good try How I met Your Mother or something like that.

I forgot how to use spoiler tags, that's why I kept it vague. And really, given the ending of last episode, I thought most people assumed at least one character might dead. Anyways, I don't watch it seriously: I'm watching it more like M3STK.

C'mon, really? George Takei died early in the 2nd season and he's still in this show. Nicky died last season and they just changed her name. When has a character's death ever meant anything in Heroes?

Show is pretty good, but death has about as much substance to it as air.

BTW just curious, but why was Hankage permabanned? I didn't see anything violating the TOS in his post.

I personally thought Heroes Season One (watched it on DVD) was brilliant and everything I'd always wanted in a TV show.

Season 2 (watched on DVD right before Season 3) was, if not as compelling, still perfectly watchable and enjoyable.

I stopped watching Season 3 about 5 episodes in. It seems like the writers decided to focus on weirdass plot twists instead of really good character development. In addition, the issue mentioned here (meaningless death) REALLY turned me off this show. I figured "finally someone dies and it means something" but no. Either they get revived with the vital fluids of one character or they happen to have a clone running around somewhere. Or they're immortal.

A shame that I lost interest, I used to like it a lot. Also, I don't remember if he's dead or not, but Noah Bennet is my favorite character because in my opinion he's the best non-super character on the show. The rest are either filler or have powers.

Anyway: I'll eventually catch up to the series via Hulu, methinks. can someone answer me this: Has the writing gotten better since the beginning of third season?

It's starting to come back thanks to the Haitian finally being used the way I always thought he should be. And Noah is my favorite as well.
