I personally thought Heroes Season One (watched it on DVD) was brilliant and everything I'd always wanted in a TV show.
Season 2 (watched on DVD right before Season 3) was, if not as compelling, still perfectly watchable and enjoyable.
I stopped watching Season 3 about 5 episodes in. It seems like the writers decided to focus on weirdass plot twists instead of really good character development. In addition, the issue mentioned here (meaningless death) REALLY turned me off this show. I figured "finally someone dies and it means something" but no. Either they get revived with the vital fluids of one character or they happen to have a clone running around somewhere. Or they're immortal.
A shame that I lost interest, I used to like it a lot. Also, I don't remember if he's dead or not, but Noah Bennet is my favorite character because in my opinion he's the best non-super character on the show. The rest are either filler or have powers.
Anyway: I'll eventually catch up to the series via Hulu, methinks. can someone answer me this: Has the writing gotten better since the beginning of third season?
