Aww I loved Lego, it was virtually my only toy, I have tonnes of it. Played with it until I was about 16 or so, I mainly made castles, but I did do a big ninja base thing in a mountain with loads of secret passages and booby-traps.

I'll put a list here of my biggest sets, all from the 90's of course

This was one of my first lego kits:

The original fort legoredo(curiously the lego wiki has the newer version in the picture. Mine is larger.):

And all the cowboy town buildings, the bandit mines and indian village

These castles from 1995:

And a lot of pirate ships, and buccanear stuff, some spaceshippy things, the aquanauts line, as well as the occasional lego city buildings and trucks etc. I had a lot of lego.

You never out grow the fun of Lego. NEVER I SAY. I'm 18 years old and I still yearn to build that massive Star Destroyer set.

While I never was a Lego child, give me a couple of packs of playing cards and I'll build (and have built) a village.

I bought the Lunar Lander Module lego set for $40, built it, and had it in a cool place in my room. Then one Easter my sister threw her paddle-ball toy at it. Yeah, I had lost the instructions, so it's still partially destroyed somewhere.

Also, I remember Mega Blocks. You remember, those cheap legos that sucked because they didn't stay together nearly as well as Legos? Well, someone got me a big robot from Mega Blocks, and my god, I must have spent months getting that thing together because whenever I got to a decent spot, the whole thing would just fall apart. But I got that bastard together, and then a few weeks later my cousin knocked it off a table by accident. I shoved it in a box and never looked back.

Someday, I'm going to buy the biggest Star Wars Lego set there is. I think it's that star destroyer that's like 3 feet long or something. And it will be awesome. I miss my Lego collection, had them all neatly stashed in boxes that got lost along the way. Only thing I have now are a set of those insect-like Bionicle villains. And a Lego R2-D2.

I'll just leave this here...

Every summer me and my parents would get out all the Lego on big table and spend weeks just building everything. Good times. Even now I'm often tempted to buy some new Lego. Never too old for Lego.

Lego. Gotta love it.

I still remember that amazing bit on TV where James May made an entire, full sized house out of the stuff. It was awesome.
I don't think May built that dude...
